Mp3CatgBuilder is a script that can be used to create Web pages for audio files like MP3 and WAV. The Web pages taht you will create include ID3 tags, pictures, lyrics, and playlists.

Video Related Picture Editor is a gtk2 GUI frontend for batch-manipulating images using ImageMagick, MPlayer and transcode.

Its also the name of the infamous VRPE Team who paid me for hacking this together quickly because they needed it.

The name

Why "video related picture encoder" ? Because I didnt find a better name :) Any suggestions are welcome. With v0.1 the project was called "gFader" because all it did was "morphing" single frames to slow-down a video (giving a "fade-like effect") as batch-job with nice gui so poor Windows users could use it ;) My customer then wanted gFader to also do crop and scaling of multiple image files which rendered "gFader" as projectname useless. So i tried to make up some general name, which still fits if the application-range grows.

What can it do?

VRPE is able to do batch image-processing on a large set of images providing a way to move between images and giving a preview of the current, the previous and the next frame all with a nice GUI.

Different effects can be applied to the image-set (e.g morph, crop). Some of the effects support variable parameters so an effect can change with the image position.

VRPE can load several image formats (the ones supported by gtk2 and ImageMagick) or can convert almost any video to single frames using mplayer. It exports single images but also can render a videofile using mencoder or transcode. You can even launch mplayer to look at what youve done.

PIVIAU provides a Web gallery for pictures, videos, and audio.
PIVIAU is a PHP/MySQL Web based gallery for pictures, videos, and audio that supports tags and EXIF. Albums and pictures have searchable tag, country, city, place, date, subject, and author.
An RSS feed is available for every seach you can do, or for recent pictures. There is an AJAX-powered slideshow.
Pictures are resized using PHP GD image functions.
Videos are viewable a la Google Video using a video flash player. Audio (WAV and MP3) is supported via the embed HTML tag.
EXIF is supported via PHP exif functions to extract the picture date.

bingo-cards project consists in a program to create number, word/letter, and picture bingo cards.
These cards can be used for entertainment in the car, in a classroom (for example, to teach the element symbols for the Periodic Table), or just with your kids.
You could also create bingo cards with little pictures of everyday objects, then call the names out in Spanish, French, Italian, or German (or whatever you fancy).
Enhancements:
- Win32 Borland CBuilder 3 version ported to Kylix Linux. All tested. Only major issue is cannot select multiple pictures for import. Note for compilation to work, put included crt1.o in /usr/lib {it is a dependency of Kylix, and is crt1.o from glibc-devel 2.1.92}.
- First port of GUI to Linux using Kylix. Seems to work fine, apart from bulk adding of pictures fo picture bingo. (need to add one at a time).
