Specto project is a desktop application that will watch configurable events (such as website updates, emails, file and folder changes, system processes, etc) and then trigger notifications.

For example, Specto can watch a website for updates (or a syndication feed, or an image, etc), and notify you when there is activity (otherwise, Specto will just stay out of the way). This changes the way you work, because you can be informed of events instead of having to look out for them.

Cankiri is a single file screen recorder for Linux and other systems that run GStreamer 0.10 and PyGTK 2.8. It was inspired by Zaheer Abbas Meralis Istanbul, and aims to have lighter weight deployment than Istanbul.
Usage:
Running Cankiri will add an icon to your notification area. If you do not have one, Cankiri may appear to do nothing, or may fail to run at all. Once the icon is there you can begin a screen recording by clicking the icon. Choose the destination filename, as well as any desired options, and click OK to begin. Click the icon again to stop and complete your video. Right click to access other operations including Quit.
Installation:
Download cankiri-0.1.tar.gz, unpack, and save cankiri.py wherever you want your programs to live. Add any desired links, launchers, etc. If youre feeling mildly adventurous, you can grab it from subversion instead: cankiri.py
Main features:

kompact is a simple text based system monitor. Just the facts you could say. Easy to modify, just look at the documentation. I have alot of plans for this script. Originally based off compact 1.0.

If lm-sensors is installed & work correctly.
ONLY USE v0.2.1 if you require two network interfaces, otherwise use the v0.2 build in the tar.gz (it has been updated).
Documentation is currently my main focus (since I have yet to find another feature I want to add), so please give me feedback.

JIndex is a beagle clone. It tries to mimic the functionality of Beagle. JIndex is written in Java.

miniPager3D is a clone (copy) of the KDE applet minipager, but able to use use 3D Desktop to change the virtual desktop.
Of course you need to have 3ddesktop installed on your system.
miniPager3D project let you choose 3d Desktop preferences from an additionnal context menu.
Installation:
download the sources
extract it
cd into the created repository minipager3d
type the following command : ./configure --prefix=`kde-config` && make && su -c make install
to load the kapplet right click in the kicker panel-> add -> applet -> minipager3d.
Tested on mdk10.1/10.2b3 with kde-3.2.3/3.3.2 and 3ddesktop-0.2.7-1/ 0.2.8.
I recommand to use the latest release of 3ddesktop, 0.2.8 for it fixes an annoying bug.
Enhancements:
- add a version for kde3.3.2
- fixed small bug : zoomout is now read from config file

wmtrash is a simple yet useful trash dockapp :

-left click : browse trash,
-double right click : empty trash.

Trash icon can be change from config file.
