Maxemum TV-Guide is a KDE TV-guide. Maxemum TV-Guide is developed in C++, based on QT/KDE and uses XMLTV as its back end to grab listings.
At present there are backends grabbing TV listings for Canada, the USA, the UK, Germany, Austria, Finland, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Denmark, Japan, Sweden, France, Norway and Romania.

KoverArtist is a program for the fast creation of covers for cd/dvd cases and boxes. KoverArtists main idea is to be able to create decent looking covers with some mouseclicks.
The project started from my need for some decent covers for the films I record from television and then often burn on dvd for archiving.
With series I usually start with one or two dvds, and add more as more episodes are available. So the program - KoverArtist - had to be flexible enough to handle that. This also requires changing covers on the fly to use cases that can house more discs.
Enhancements:
- Some layout tweaking to make the main window fit better on a 1024x768 screen (thanks to Agnese Bonetti for reporting).
- Bugfix: Disc #1 tab was not shown on startup when no project was opened.
- Bugfix: koverartist crashed when ~/.cddb did not exist upon audio-cd import (thanks to Audidriver for reporting).

phpMyProfiler is based on myprofiler and parses the XML files of DVD Profiler (www.intervocative.com) to insert information into a MySQL database.
Compared to the service of Intervocative, the layout is configurable and almost all information about your DVD collection can be provided.

MediaLibrary is a multi-platform free software that lets you catalog your media files ( CD-Rs, DVDs...)
Its main purpose is to reference your media files in a category tree with any comment. You can then easily find any file you are looking for.
MediaLibrary is Free Software available under the terms of the GNU/GPL running on Java.

Knamer program is a simple little utility for batch renaming files.

At first, I wrote Knamer to meet my own needs, which were mostly renaming photographs and TV episodes. Later it expanded to include more and more features that hopefully others will find useful. Believe it or not, I had Knamer half written before I even discovered Krename. Had I found it earlier, I probably wouldnt have bothered.

Most information you could want is included in the README. I also included a directory of test files for you to play around with if youd rather not mess with your own files at first.

In my experience, Knamer has proved quite stable, usually only encountering problems on files with tricky characters in the name. If things should prove otherwise on your system, please let me know. If a particular filename (old or new) is causing trouble, please email me the exact details and Ill see if I can get it fixed.

Usage:

Knamer usage is slightly different than that of most other renaming applications, so it might be worth your while to read through the Help tab before trying to use the program. It outlines the basic operation of Knamer and also gives an extensive set of examples. Additionally, almost every button or setting has "Whats this?" information that can be accessed using the question mark button on the toolbar or by pressing Shift + F1.

fortune-starwars project is a collection of mod-fortune quotes from Star Wars.

fortune-starwars is a collection of quotes from the movies "Star Wars", "The Empire Strikes Back", and "Return Of The Jedi".

It does not contain quotes from Episodes One to Three, because I don’t really like them.

It is meant for use with the fortune program.

To install these fortunes, copy the .dat file to your fortunes directory (possibly /usr/games/lib/fortunes).

To use it, simply type:

# fortune starwars

nextShows is a desktop applet for SuperKaramba that displays your favorite TV shows schedule.

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: If youre using the previous version (1.0.0) you *MUST* remove your previous configuration/cache files or chances are nextShows 2.0.0 wont behave correctly.
Just do ...
$ rm -rf ~/.superkaramba/nextShows
... and everything should be sane enough for you to run this new version !

HISTORY:
I originally wrote this widget for myself and a couple of friends. In fact I didnt plan to release it publicly but some guys convinced me to do so. There were a bunch of releases before the first public release (which I decided to number v1.0.0 since it seemed stable enough).

Between the 1.0.0 and 2.0.0 releases, most parts of the code were fully rewritten and the project also found a new home (http://code.google.com/p/nextshows/) where you can also fetch the latest development version through SVN.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
1) When the widget if fully running you can left-click on the column entitled "When?" to change the way of displaying past/remaining days.
2) When left-clicking on a show name/title, the episode description will open on your browser.
3) You can change various nextShows parameters by right-clicking on the widget and selecting "Configure Theme" -> "Configure..."
