Ftpmap enables you to find what software/version a FTP server is running according to its fingerprint.
Ftpmap scans remote FTP servers to identify what software and what versions they are running.
It uses program-specific fingerprints to discover the name of the software even when banners have been changed or removed, or when some features have been disabled.
IPv6 is fully supported.

-h : help

PieSpy is an IRC bot that monitors a set of IRC channels. It uses a simple set of heuristic methods to infer relationships between pairs of users. These inferrences allow PieSpy to build a mathematical model of a social network for any channel. These social networks can be drawn and used to create animations of evolving social networks.
PieSpy has also been used to visualize Shakespearean social networks.This page got slashdotted on 11 March 2004, with the site getting 250,000 hits per hour. Thanks to Notnet for making sure it all stayed alive!
PieSpy was presented at the Information Visualization conference (IV04) in July 2004. Read the full paper online. It has also appeared in Computer Weekly, ct magazine, and I was interviewed live on BBC Radio Kent.
Enhancements:
- Now tracks nickname changes. Generates images five times faster. Removes formatting and colors from messages. The source code has been refactored to make it easy to add new InferenceHeuristics, which are used to work out who is talking to whom - if you create any good ones, let me know! The config file lets you apply different weightings to each InferenceHeuristic.

wmpower is a Window Maker dock application allowing the user to graphically see (and set) the power management status of his laptop.
Main features:

Enhancements:
- Fixed a memory allocation issue that on rare occasions could make wmpower crash.
- Fixed small bug that made wmpower print forever that it would not fast charge the battery as it was already at maximum capacity.
- When calculating battery time, and battery is charging, now wmpower displays time remaining until battery is fully charged instead of how much time would left if we were running on battery power.

sqlmap is an automatic blind SQL injection tool, developed in python, capable to enumerate entire remote database, perform an active database fingerprint and much more.
sqlmaps aim is to implement a fully functional database mapper tool which takes advantages of web application programming security flaws which lead to SQL injection vulnerabilities.
Main features:
- Test of the remote url stability, based on page hash or string match;
- Identification of url dynamic parameters;
- Test numeric, string (single quote and double quotes) SQL injection on all url dynamic parameters and at first vulnerable it will be used to perform the future SQL injections;
- Possible selection of HTTP method for testing and exploiting dynamic parameters, GET or POST (default: GET);
- Fingerprint of web application database back-end based upon specific queries output which identify database characteristics and banner grabbing;
- Random HTTP User-Agent header selection;
- HTTP Cookie header provided, useful when web application requires authorization based on cookies and you an account;
- Provide an anonymous HTTP proxy address to pass by request to the target url;
- Other command line parameters to get database banner, enumerate databases, tables, columns, dump values, retrieve an arbitrary file content and provide own SQL expression to query remote database;

- PHP setting magic_quotes_gpc evasion by encoding every query string, between single quotes, with CHAR (or similar) database function.

DMDirc project is a new cross platform IRC client written in java

DMDirc was started to address the lack of a good IRC client for Linux, it can however be run on any java capable platform, including OSX and window. While there are plenty of reasonable clients, most are lacking in one respect or another. We hope that DMDirc will fill this gap.

We are accepting feature requests and bug reports to our issue tracker at Google Code.

ipcam is a motion detection and recording program for IP cameras. ipcam software reads the JPEG stream from a ip camera and tries to detect motion by comparing the images to each other and calculating differences in brightness and color.

Once motion is detected, ipcam switches to recoding mode and stores the JPEG images in separate files in a new directory. When recording is finished and no more motion is detected, ipcam can start an external program for further processing on the JPEG files.

For example: use mencoder to create a movie file of the JPEG files. ipcam does not take any command line arguments and will only log to syslog(3).

ipcam was developed and tested on OpenBSD 3.8. It should work on Linux as well.

Supported hardware:

Currently, only the Sitecom LN-400 or LN-401 camera is supported.

Gnetload is a GNOME applet displaying the network load in a histogram. Gnetload is free software licensed under the GNU GPL.
