Ratoximus is a backend for rating your music on the fly. When a good song comes up on your playlist, you can mark it up to your favorites, and when you just cant stand a song, you can blacklist it.

A cleanlist is generated based on a preselected list, taking out the blacklisted entries. It includes a simple interactive frontend, and tips to other methods.

Spyrius is an extensible multithreaded superdaemon. Spyrius is essentially a TCP server that manages loadable modules ("plug-ins").

Each module represents a network service that can be loaded into or unloaded from the daemon on-the-fly. Worker threads are spawned to handle incoming client connections.

A client can communicate with several modules in the course of one session with the daemon. The daemon itself can be administered over a TCP connection.

This package is a prototype or proof-of-concept and as such it is not fully implemented. There are some missing features, but the existing codebase is clean and well-documented to allow for easy modification.

mod_index_rss is an Apache module that creates RSS of directory contents on the fly. This can be used to publish static files (HTML, images, etc.) to RSS feeds by placing them in a directory.

dvd+rw-tools project makes it possible to burn DVD images created by "dvdauthor" or "mkisofs" to DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, and DVD-RW disks, replacing "cdrecord-proDVD" in many cases.

The package contains "growisofs" to burn DVD images or create a data DVD on the fly, "dvd+rw-format" to format a DVD+RW, "dvd+rw-mediainfo" to give details about DVD disks, and some programs to control the write speed and obtain information from DVD-RAM.
