This extension will enable you to organize your status bar icons. You can now rearrange or remove any item (icon or text) in the Firefox status bar.

gtranscode is a GTK+ GUI (graphical use interface) front-end for transcode written in order to make this powerful tool easier to use. Transcode is a powerful video and audio processing tool that can read in just about any format of video and/or audio and convert to just as many different formats. In addition to transcodes extremely flexible modular concept for reading/writing different formats and codecs, it can apply filters, do re-sampling, resizing, cropping, and more. The cost from all this comes in the form of over 100 command line options but gtranscode aims to simplify.

GENU is a Content Management System which uses a database server (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite). The project uses a template system and supports multiple languages.
It features BBCode and HTML tag support, a bulletin board, a comment system with reply and editing abilities, an administration interface, headlines generation, polls, a search engine, smilies support, "submit" and "send" news functions, unlimited news organized into unlimited categories, and user management.

OpenCartable project is an electronic school and schoolbook system.

OpenCartable is an online tool for teachers and their students organized around textbooks and bibliographies of links to Web sites or uploaded files.

The "todo" links (or resources) can be affected as works that the student answers and the teacher corrects and marks.

The focus is on simplicity, with students only using three pages: their desk, textbooks, and works. Users are grouped in a school, and teachers manage their students through groups.

The contents are written as standard DocBook files plus a LOM (Learning Object Metadata) schema that can be shared among OpenCartable servers using simple tools like rsync.

FreeSynd is a cross-platform, GPLed reimplementation of the classic Bullfrog game, Syndicate.
As the worlds multinational corporations grew, their profits began to rival those of small countries. Soon they owned small countries and corporate influence was felt at the highest level of world government. Smaller corporations were swallowed up like plankton in the wake of three behemoth mega-corporations, one U.S.-based, one Europe-based and one based in the Far East. These became the only effective world government, unelected, undemocratic, but controlling the lives of the people through commerce.
Then the European corporation perfected the CHIP. Inserted in the neck, the CHIP stimulated the brain stem to alter your every perception of the outside world. Better than any drug, the CHIP gave hope to millions by numbing their senses to the misery and squalor around them. One CHIP would convince users that the sun shone and the birds sang even as they walked through the constant acid rain drizzle. Another that they were glamorous or handsome - theyd look in the mirror and see a different face - while the rest of the world would see them as they really were.
The CHIP was a technological revolution and sold countless units with the slogan "Why change your world when you can change your mind". It also left the user open to auto-suggestion and gave the corporations the perfect tool for manipulating the populace.
Like any new and potent drug, control of the CHIP meant control of the people. Soon the corporations were at war among themselves, desperate to monopolize CHIP manufacture. But the corporations thirst for power left them open to infiltration.
With money earned through pirating CHIP technology, crime Syndicates bribed and murdered their way into corporation boardrooms. It wasnt long before the Syndicates became the controlling force all over the globe, with a finger in the pie of every transaction, criminal or otherwise, worldwide.
And in the crime Syndicates of tomorrow those in control dont need uzis for back up. Teams of custom-built cyborg agents hunt down rivals and traitors, and spread the influence of the Syndicates across the globe.
Enhancements:
This release boasts the following:
- The first level is "playable".
- Most of the menus are complete and functional.
- Sound and music are operational.
Known issues with this release:
- Agent AI is different from the original game.
- No trees the map.
- The minimap is not complete.
- Tax collection and other functionality of the world map are not done.

Salonify is a Perl script which displays images that you have organized in a directory hierarchy.
The Web user can choose to see photos as thumbnails or in small, medium, or full-size format; rotate the images; modify the captions; move from folder to folder or image to image easily; and customize the layout.
The administrator can also take away any of these abilities from the user if they want. By default, the captioning is totally democratic (or wiki-like)--anyone visiting your site can change the captions. You can also lock this down.
Salonify generates nearly w3c-compliant HTML (getting closer all the time) and renders quite well in all tested browsers, including w3m-img, lynx, Mozilla, Opera, Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc..
It uses JavaScript when available but does not depend on it, and makes special allowances for bugs in certain browsers.
Enhancements:
- New feature to permit visitors to download entire album as a ZIP file. See the config file for the new options, salonify_generate_static_archive_file and salonify_generate_dynamic_archive_file. The "dynamic generate" is enabled by default, but if you want to limit disk space usage, youll need a script that runs occasionally to delete the ZIP files that are created.
- If this feature is enabled, a new "download album" button will appear above the thumbnail view.
- More error checking when loading modules--try to tell user what is missing.
- More error checking when using RCS to check out files--give user option to override RCS lock on make_salonify.
- Update documentation, in particular the USAGE file.
