Free organize magazine software for linux

MP3Organizer is designed to organize your MP3-collection. It gets the songinformation from the MP3-Files and its ID3-Tags or the filenames and stores it in a mysql-database. Easily you can search for files by artist, title, album, etc. and create playlists.
If you dont have a mysql-database, please install one. At the moment mp3organizer only works with a local database. Starting MP3Organizer the first time, it will ask you for connection parameters. In the dialog select create database and enter the username and password for a user which is allowed to create and drop databases on the left side (in most cases root and no password). On the right side enter the access information MP3Organizer will use to connect the database. If you create a new database, you can choose free what to enter.

My cOLLection manager is a manager program for your collections. My cOLLection manager is a fast and easy to use frontend for gdbm with an ncurses interface.

The program was originally designed to organize a large music CD collection, but it is has no restrictions on the entry of any other large range of items. Its main goal is flexibillity.

Pauls Train Tracker is a Zope application. I wrote it for my father, thats Paul, while I was learning to develop for the Zope application server. Since hes found it useful, I thought Id share it with the Open Source community via the GPL.
Pauls Train Tracker allows you to create folders to organize your model train inventory. Pauls Train Tracker uses the Zope Database to store the following inforamtion about each item:
- name
- description
- brand
- model
- serial number
- comments
- picture
While this application is far from mature, it is still quite useful. Hopefully as time passes, this application will gain additional features as development continues.

Krang is an open-source content-management system designed to publish magazine websites. Krang project is a Perl application which uses Apache with mod_perl and MySQL, as well as numerous CPAN modules.
Krang is a large application with many features, making a compact feature list difficult to come by. Krang provides a simple story and media editing environment for magazine editors as well as a complete template development environment for web designers.
On the backend, Perl programmers can customize Krang to control the data entered in the story editor as well as the way templates are used to build output. Krang was designed with flexibility and simplicity as its highest goals.
Krang has been successfully built and tested on a number of different systems. In many cases, if your particular system isnt listed, Krang can still be compiled by using a similar platform configuration.
