OpenXava 2.2.1 / 3.0 Beta 1

OpenXava is a framework to develop easily business applications with XML and Java. more>>
OpenXava is a framework to develop easily business applications with XML and Java.

OpenXavas virtue resides in the fact that the heart of our applications is XML instead of Java.

No Java classes, no XML files for mapping objects, no design of JSP or JSF pages, simply no more.

OpenXava generates for you a complete J2EE application (with CMP EJB or Hibernate for persistence) like this, and with a suitable User Interface for manage your Teachers.

The resulting application allows you make CRUD operations, searching, filtering, ordering, generating reports in PDF format, exporting to Excel, etc.

In spite of its rapid development features, OpenXava is flexible enough to allow you to put your custom code in any part of the application.

With only simple XMLs and Java code in JavaBean format (really reusable Java classes) you can construct any J2EE business application in a very productive way. In fact, a lot of critical business application, now in production, have been developed with OpenXava.

Whats New in 2.2.1 Stable Release:

The button bar is not shown if it is empty. More meaningful titles for PDF reports are displayed in collections. A new property, emailAsUserNameInPortal, was added for usin in xava.properties that allows Users.getCurrent() to return the user email instead of the user id inside a portal. A new display-size attribute is available in property-view, and scale validation is done for MONEY/DINERO stereotype. Mode.list link is not available when creating or modifing a reference. In general, change mode actions are not available after view navigation, and many other features have been added.

Pengupop 2.2.1

Pengupop 2.2.1

Pengupop is an online multiplayer clone of Frozen-Bubble/Bust a Move. more>>
Pengupop is an online multiplayer clone of Frozen-Bubble/Bust a Move. Pengupops purpose of the game is to shoot colored balls so they form groups and thus fall down. Any balls that fall down will reappear on your opponents playfield as a side-effect.

The purpose of this game is to shoot colored balls into your playfield, so they form groups of three or more. You win if you manage to remove all balls. You lose if any ball attaches below the white line.

You can make the job harder for your opponent by making balls fall down as a side-effect of you forming a group. For example, on the screenshot shown on this page, the player on the right playfield can fire a black ball onto the three black balls in the middle of his field, and cause the seven balls below to reapper on his opponents playfield.

No installation is required for this game. Just download the executable and run it. Tip: Use the F key to toggle fullscreen mode.

cdpr 2.2.1

cdpr 2.2.1

cdpr is used to decode a Cisco Disovery Protocol (CDP) packet. more>>
cdpr is used to decode a Cisco Disovery Protocol (CDP) packet, by default it will report the device ID, the IP Address (of the device), and the port number that the machine is connected to. Optionally it will decode the entire CDP packet.
This version provides the ability to include a timeout so that you can put cdpr
into startup scripts and not have it hang if for some reason a CDP packet is never
received (i.e. CDP is disabled, machine is plugged into a hub, etc.) The following command line option has been added to complete the program:
-t timeout: Specify a timeout (in seconds) to wait for a CDP packet.
Please note that the default time between CDP packets is 60 seconds so you should
set your timeout to something greater than 60. There is a default timeout of 5 minutes
so that should you not provide a timeout, cdpr will still exit if there is no CDP packet received within 5 minutes.
This version also allows you to specify the server and URL to send CDP updates to on
the command line. The following command line options have been added:
-s server: Server to send information to requires -p (overridden by -u)
-p path: Path of server script to send data to requires -s (overridden by -u)
As you can see if you specify -s, -p and -u on the command line, the config file is ctually
used, and the -s and -p options are ignored. Both the -s and -p options must be specified and cdpr will exit if only one of them is given. An example as to how to use the -s and -p flags:
cdpr -d eth0 -s localhost -p /cgi-bin/cdprs.cgi -t 120
This will listen for a CDP announcement on device eth0 for up to 2 minutes (120 seconds) and send the results to the webserver running on the local machine by calling the /cgi-bin/cdprs.cgi page.
Enhancements:
- Fixed server port parsing logic when no port is specified.

Adime 2.2.1

Adime 2.2.1

Adime is a library for constructing Allegro GUI dialogs in a way similar to scanf(), using a format string. more>>
Adime project is a library for constructing Allegro GUI dialogs in a way similar to scanf(), using a format string.
Other features include a (customizable) 3d look and feel, 3d versions of some of Allegros GUI procs, complete help in many formats (HTML, txt, chm, texinfo, man, devhelp, and RTF), and four example programs.
Adime can currently be compiled on Linux, Windows/MinGW32, Windows/Borland C++, Windows/MSVC, DOS/DJGPP, DOS/Watcom, Apple MacOS X, and QNX.
Main features:
- Only one function call to create a whole dialog, using a format string.
- 3d look and feel.
- No need to calculate object coordinates by hand. All such things are handled completely automatically.
- Uses Allegros gui in the bottom, so it supports Unicode and is potentially portable to any system supported by Allegro (although there are not makefiles for all of them).
- The format string supports the following kinds of input:
- Text input.
- Number input, supporting double, float and signed or unsigned char, short and int. Thanks to the expression evaluator for Egg (written by Shawn Hargreaves), it has a built-in calculator so that the user can enter mathematical expressions.
- Selection of a filename, using (a 3d version of) Allegros file selector.
- Boolean input, using a checkbox.
- Selection of a string from a list box.
- A new dialog recursively opened when the user clicks a button.
- Highly customizable look, using global variables for the fonts, colors and measurements of the dialogs.
- The kernel is flexible enough to allow you to register your own format strings at runtime.
- 3d versions of the following Allegro gui functions: file_select(), d_edit_proc(), d_list_proc(), d_button_proc(), d_check_proc() and d_text_list_proc(). Gui functions for edit boxes with mathematical expressions and a multi-line version of d_text_proc().
- The format string is carefully checked for any possible errors, thus minimizing the risk for you to make mistakes.
- Help compiles into txt, info, html, rtf, and chm formats.
- Four example programs.

Shibboleth is a privacy and security-aware mailing list manager. more>>
Shibboleth is a privacy and security-aware mailing list manager. Internet mailing lists today suffer from the problem of their vulnerability to exploitation by those who seek to use the Internets dynamics to their own selfish advantage. Marketers, spies, and other unscrupulous Internet users have been able to force their way into private communities, disrupting what they found, sometimes even destroying what they found.
