Multi Purpose Scanner is a simple scanner written in C that starts a number of child processes, connects to a list of IP addresses, and logs a certain number of characters to standard out or a file.
Low band use is one consecuence of a single connection per child that recieve an only defined num of characters.

epiOS is a Gentoo based GNU/Linux distribution designed and optimized for VIA Epia systems.

epiOS is developed to detect and support all integrated hardware components like the onboard MPEG-2 decoder or the PadLock (Cryptography) engine out of the box.

Otherwise its main purpose is to provide a system which is easy to install, maintain and of course very easy to use even for unexperienced users but keeping all the advanced features Gentoo provides.

Beat Monkey is a very simple program which calulates BPM or sample frames given sample rate, beats, and sample frames or BPM, respectively, for the purpose of pitch shifting audio samples.

Beat Monkey is known to work under Linux 2.2.9 with GTK+ 1.0.6 and SGI IRIX 6.3 with GTK+ 1.2.3. It should run on any system with GTK+. Beat Monkey was written using Glade.This calculation is useful for that kind of pitch shifting which does not preserve duration.

Test::Parser is a collection of parsers for different test output file formats. These parse the data into a general purpose data structure that can then be used to create reports, do post-processing analysis, etc.

Test-Parser can also export tests in SpikeSources TRPI test description XML language.

Ye Olde Pong project is a clone of Pong for the Atari 2600.

It is written entirely in C++ and draws from SDL to handle the graphics. The purpose of this program is primarily to familiarize the authors with working with outside libraries, but the SDL library in particular.

Currently, the only supported platform is Linux, though there is a Windows port in the works.

LINGOT is a musical instrument tuner. LINGOT is easy to use, accurate, and highly configurable. Originally conceived to tune electric guitars, its configurability gives it a more general character. (Tuning another instruments has not been tested).
It looks like an analogic tuner, with a gauge indicating the relative shift to a certain note --found automatically as the closest note to the estimated frequency--, indicating that note and its frequency.
The note will be found automatically, since the program hasnt any manual function mode (indicating the note to tune manually), for mantaining its general purpose.
We recommend using the tuner in conjunction with a sound mixer for selecting the desired recording source and the signal recording levels.
Main features:

- Very configurable via GUI. Its possible to change any parameter while the program is running, without editing any file.
- It works in an automatic way. It isnt necessary specify the note to tune; the program guesses it.

- Tuning other instruments than guitars is possible. Since this program guesses the note you are playing, it can be used to tune a piano, a bass, a violin, etc.

Devel::PPPort is a Perl/Pollution/Portability.

Perls API has changed over time, gaining new features, new functions, increasing its flexibility, and reducing the impact on the C namespace environment (reduced pollution). The header file written by this module, typically ppport.h, attempts to bring some of the newer Perl API features to older versions of Perl, so that you can worry less about keeping track of old releases, but users can still reap the benefit.

Devel::PPPort contains a single function, called WriteFile. Its only purpose is to write the ppport.h C header file. This file contains a series of macros and, if explicitly requested, functions that allow XS modules to be built using older versions of Perl. Currently, Perl versions from 5.003 to 5.9.4 are supported.
This module is used by h2xs to write the file ppport.h.

Why use ppport.h?

You should use ppport.h in modern code so that your code will work with the widest range of Perl interpreters possible, without significant additional work.
You should attempt older code to fully use ppport.h, because the reduced pollution of newer Perl versions is an important thing. Its so important that the old polluting ways of original Perl modules will not be supported very far into the future, and your module will almost certainly break! By adapting to it now, youll gain compatibility and a sense of having done the electronic ecology some good.

How to use ppport.h

Dont direct the users of your module to download Devel::PPPort. They are most probably no XS writers. Also, dont make ppport.h optional. Rather, just take the most recent copy of ppport.h that you can find (e.g. by generating it with the latest Devel::PPPort release from CPAN), copy it into your project, adjust your project to use it, and distribute the header along with your module.

Running ppport.h

But ppport.h is more than just a C header. Its also a Perl script that can check your source code. It will suggest hints and portability notes, and can even make suggestions on how to change your code. You can run it like any other Perl program:

perl ppport.h [options] [files]

GENPO (GENeral Purpose Organ) is a program which replicates the essential features of any pipe, theatre, or reed organ. The project reads a description of an organ (a .org XML file) and presents a suitable user interface for operating that organ.

There are a number of high quality organ "SoundFonts" freely available and the .org file maps the stop sounds to organ manuals and stops. Other facilities such and couplers and presets are available.

You may connect one or more MIDI keyboards to GENPO to provide the organ manuals, and you can even assign one to be the pedalboard if so desired.
