GD Graphics Library 2.0.35
Gd is a graphics library. more>>
Gd is a graphics library. It allows your code to quickly draw images complete with lines, arcs, text, multiple colors, cut and paste from other images, and flood fills, and write out the result as a PNG or JPEG file. This is particularly useful in World Wide Web applications, where PNG and JPEG are two of the formats accepted for inline images by most browsers.
In gd 1.0, it stood for "gif draw." After the Unisys patent on the LZW compression used in GIF came to light and GIF support was dropped, it did not officially stand for anything, but lets just say "graphics draw" and leave it at that. (GIF support is back, thanks to the expiration of the patent, but gd can draw much more than GIFs.)
This is a quick install guide:
1. Type ./configure
2. Type make install

Network Traffic Analyzer 1.0
Network Traffic Analyzer analyzes the network traffic on multiple network devices and creates HTML statistics. more>>
Network Traffic Analyzer analyzes the network traffic on multiple network devices and creates HTML statistics with some network usage graphs. Sometimes it is good to know, how the network is used, how many bytes were received and how many bytes were sent.Therefore, here is Network Traffic Analyzer, which creates simple network usage statistics.
Such statistics can tell you, how good your network connection really is (who cares about what Internet provider say, when was the network down, which time is the best time for downloading large packages of data etc. etc. Or with this software you can just better imagine, how many traffic can your home computer generate.

IRCRelay 1.0
IRCRelay provides an IRC relay client based on Tkinter. more>>
IRCRelay provides an IRC relay client based on Tkinter.
IRCRelay is an IRC relay client based on Tkinter. IRCRelay will connect to two different servers and join a channel on each, passing messages users would say back and forth across the servers.
It includes an unfinished console-only version and a fully functional GUI version.
I use to spend a lot of time on irc.enterthegame.com with a few of my friends.
If you spend enough time on ETG, you will learn that it sucks, lag-wise of course.
So my friends found a new server, irc.box.sk. The majority of us didnt want to go to a new server, so we had this issue of 80% of us on ETG and the other 20% on box.sk.
IRCRelay was my solution.
It allowed us to all be in the same channel by creating two connections, one to box.sk, and one to ETG. IRCRelay would join both channels, passing messages users would say back and forth across the servers.
There are two different versions in this tarball:
ircrelay-gui.py - This is the original, Tkinter based relay.
ircrelay-console.py - This was a console based version I never finished.

Netkit 4 TIC
Netkit is a poor mans system to experiment computer networking. more>>
Understanding computer networks without performing practical experiments is really difficult, not to say it is almost impossible. Unfortunately, setting up a networking lab can be very expensive.
Netkit has been conceived as an environment for setting up and performing networking experiments at low cost and with little effort. It allows to "create" several virtual network devices (full-fledged routers, switches, computers, etc.) that can be easily interconnected in order to form a network on a single PC. Networking equipments are virtual but feature many of the characteristics of the real ones, including the configuration interface.
Netkit exploits open source software (mostly licensed under GPL) and is heavily based on the User Mode Linux (UML) variant of the linux kernel. The purpose of this project is to solve many of the difficulties and technicalities that a user could have in using UML for networking. We offer the users an easy-to-use-and-install package, which at the same time implements effective network emulation. Further, we provide a corpus of teaching material that can be used for courses at different levels.

kNeu is a brand new Icon Theme based entirely on Sivestre Herreras DLG Neu Icon Set.
kNeu intends to be some cartoonish, but not stupid. Quiet, but not silent. Shiny, but not scandalous.
When you look at your screen, this icon set intends to say: "hey. they look really nice in my KDE!"
Right now this icon set is in alpha state, wich means that it can have some errors, and, of course, therere a lot of icons missing, and im working to complete this set.
Alpha 0.2 is available, i created a lot of new icons from the original gnome release... hope you like it..
Enhancements:
- Second release, some minor errors fixed, some icons added, like kgpg iconset and a new konqueror icon.

Shelisp 2
Shelisp is a very short program that provides mechanisms for composing and running Unix shell. more>>
Shelisp is a very short program that provides mechanisms for composing and running Unix shell (particularly bash) commands and constructs from Common Lisp.
To run shelisp, say at the command prompt:
lisp -load shelisp.lisp
This should start CMU Common Lisp and provide the prompt, *. A more convenient form could be to start emacs, and issue the command M-x cmulisp that will start an `inferior lisp mode with cmu; then, say:
(load "shelisp.lisp")
The bang (!) escape to shell
Now you can say (the * is already put there by cmulisp):
- !ls
And it will execute the shell ls command (by running a bash instance and passing the command to it.
Of course, you are actually in Lisp. You can try this:
- (defun factorial (x) (if (zerop x) 1 (* x (factorial (1- x)))))
FACTORIAL
- (factorial 33)
8683317618811886495518194401280000000
So, if you enter ``! the rest of the line (until the first end of line that is not escaped with a ``) is interpreted as a bash command and the result is printed on the standard output.
Now try:
- !echo ?(+ 2 3) zuzu
5zuzu
The `? is the lisp escape. It is followed by an s-expression which is read, executed and printed (with princ) and the printed result replaces the `? and the expression in the shell command. It can be any Lisp expression.
- !echo ?(+ 2/3 2/11) "<<less

NetChat 0.01
NetChat is a very versatile tool for layer 5 protocols. more>>
NetChat is a combination of NetCat and ppps "chat", put on steroids for high performance. It is meant as a network exercise tool.
Using simple "say this, expect this reply" scripts, NetChat can be made to easilly speak most text-based protocols (such as SMTP, HTTP, POP3 etc.), and many binary protocols, very easilly.
In addition to the above, NetChat is built to perform a large number of concurrent connections. This makes NetChat an ideal network protocol stress-test tool.
Current code is limited to client only and simple send/receive matching. Future extensions will include the ability to work in listen mode, as well as use random elements in the replies and requests.

METHODS
The following methods from Number::Phone are overridden:
is_valid
The number is valid within the national numbering scheme. It may or may not yet be allocated, or it may be reserved. Any number which returns true for any of the following methods will also be valid.
is_allocated
The number has been allocated to a telco for use. It may or may not yet be in use or may be reserved. Not currently implemented.
is_geographic
The number refers to a geographic area.
is_fixed_line
The number, when in use, can only refer to a fixed line.
is_mobile
The number, when in use, can only refer to a mobile phone.
is_pager
The number, when in use, can only refer to a pager.
is_tollfree
Callers will not be charged for calls to this number under normal circumstances.
is_specialrate
The number, when in use, attracts special rates. For instance, national dialling at local rates, or premium rates for services.
is_adult
The number, when in use, goes to a service of an adult nature, such as porn.
is_network_service
The number is some kind of network service such as a human operator, directory enquiries, emergency services etc
country_code
Returns 353.
regulator
Returns some text in an appropriate character set saying who the telecoms regulator is, with optional details such as their web site or phone number.
areacode
Return the area code - if applicable - for the number. If not applicable, returns undef.
areaname
Return the area name - if applicable - for the number, or undef.
subscriber
Return the subscriber part of the number
operator
Return the name of the telco operating this number, in an appropriate character set and with optional details such as their web site or phone number. Not currently implemented.
format
Return a sanely formatted version of the number, complete with IDD code, eg for the Irish number (021) 765-4321 it would return +353 21 7654321.
country
If the number is_international, return the two-letter ISO country code.
NYI
Version restrictions:
- Strictly sppeaking, this kind of duplication of the Number::Phone::UK class is bad. A tidy-up is in order, though it may emerge that a completely new implemantation is better.
- The results are only as accurate as my own investigations into current allocations. User feedback welcome.
- While the names of the nominal owners of mobile prefixes are given, number portability makes this information unreliable.

Pipeline::Config 0.05
Pipeline::Config is a Perl module with configuration files for building Pipelines. more>>
SYNOPSIS
use Error qw( :try );
use Pipeline::Config;
my $config = Pipeline::Config->new();
try {
my $pipe = $config->load( somefile.type );
my $pipe2 = $config->load( somefile, type );
} catch Error with {
print shift;
}
Pipeline::Config lets you specify the structure of a Pipeline in a configuration file. This means you dont have to use() every Segment, call its constructor, and add it to the pipeline, because Pipeline::Config does it for you. It also means the flow of logic through your Pipeline is in one place, in a format that is easily read.
"How nice", you say? Well, this all assumes you have relatively simple Pipeline Segments that dont need lots of configuration. If you dont, then maybe this module is not for you.
Pipeline::Config is the frontend to various types of pipeline configuration files.

MoxQuizz 0.8.1
MoxQuizz project is an IRC quiz/trivia script for eggdrop. more>>
MoxQuizz project is an IRC quiz/trivia script for eggdrop.
MoxQuizz is a multilingual IRC quiz/trivia script for eggdrops which acts as a game master.
A question is posted to the channel, and all chatter is searched for the answer. If something matches an answer or an optional regular expression, the user who said it receives a point. Highscores and an allstars table are managed.
Users can ask their own questions, too. A large set of German and English questions are provided, but you can easily run MoxQuizz with your own set.
There are numerous fun commands like !hug, !roll, and others.
Enhancements:
- moxtools: added code to enable users with flag Q to use a .!jump command similiar to the .jump for bot masters
- added three new question files with english questions (+788 questions)
- added option to prevent overruns (expert players entering a game at a late state and overrun the others to gain a high allstars score). When enabled, MoxQuizz does not accept new players as soon as one player reached a certain threshold in
- point (defaults to 15 points)
- added !antispam command to moxtools. Sends a antispam.txt file (if available and enabled) from the intl dir.
- public commands for quizmasters (flag P): !nuq, !uq, !listnuq for placing users in ignore for userquestsions (for 45 minutes)
- added .!identify to moxtools.tcl to manually force the script to identify to a nickserv (flag P)
- added another 185 german questions (thanks to "Said Nasser" and his users)
- MoxQuizz will purr if it gets patted (sometimes)
- dcc "!say !hug FOO" works again
