Harminv 1.3.1
Harminv is a free program and C library for harmonic inversion. more>>
Harminv is a free program and C library for harmonic inversion: decomposing a time-series into a sum of sinusoids, including exponentially decaying sinusoids.
Harminv is based on the "filter diagonalization method" (FDM) of Mandelshtam & Taylor, which maps the harmonic inversion problem onto a small eigen-problem (size proportional to the number of sinusoids).
The FDM is often able to obtain much more robust and accurate solutions than alternative methods.
Enhancements:
- An inconsistent sign convention used for phase output was fixed.

ost 1.0
ost is a simple yet powerful tool providing mechanisms to automatically audit, maintain and backup systems customizations. more>>
ost is a simple yet powerful tool providing mechanisms to automatically audit, maintain and backup systems customizations. ost is particularly well suited to environments where most systems are similarly configured, but will operate just as well if each system is unique.
ost uses at least one of the following two sets of input:
- the systems file catalog if it exists
- user defined "templates" to override the systems catalog
These allow ost to build a virtual image of what the local filesystem is supposed to look like. This image is then compared to the actual state of the local filesystem to obtain the following information about the system:
- List of intact files
- List of modified files
- List of missing files
- List of additional files

mod_cdb 0.1
mod_cdb obtains the contents from a cdb file. more>>
mod_cdb obtains the contents from a cdb file.
It is suitable for handling thousands of small files.
BUILD:
1. Get djbs cdb package from http://cr.yp.to/cdb.html
2. Extract and build it.
3. Edit ./Makefile to make it point the Apache installed directory and the cdb directory (I suppose cdb-0.75).
4. $ make install
USE:
Add this to the httpd.conf:
LoadModule cdb_module modules/mod_cdb.so
< Location /path1 >
SetHandler cdb
CDBSource /somewhere/data1.cdb text/html
< /Location >
When URI http://yourhost/path1/abc is accessed, the server tries to obtain the contents from the cdb file /somewhere/data1.cdb by the key "abc", with the predefined mimetype "text/html".

Exact Build
Exact Build project is a sane GNU Auto replacement. more>>
Exact Build project is a sane GNU Auto replacement. For portable build systems nowadays normally GNU autoconf and the associated companiens such as automake and libtool. However albeit portable they are rather crufty to use. The various macro expansion and generation steps extremely blow up the initial definitions and make execution slow and debugging a nightmare.
Even with the enourmous code bloat, it does not have a wide feature set and neither allows to maximize the gain of parallel builds nor other state-of-the-art compiler features. Manual tinkering is needed in such cases.
Mostly due the code bloat but also to obtain features such as mximal parallel build and object output seperated cleanly from the source, we create our own set of Makefiles for the non-recursive build system and shell scripts for configuration, if required by the software module (some straight forware code does come without a configure script at all).

Statistics::Contingency 0.06
Statistics::Contingency is a Perl module to calculate precision, recall, F1, accuracy, etc. more>>
Statistics::Contingency is a Perl module to calculate precision, recall, F1, accuracy, etc.
SYNOPSIS
use Statistics::Contingency;
my $s = new Statistics::Contingency(categories => @all_categories);
while (...something...) {
...
$s->add_result($assigned_categories, $correct_categories);
}
print "Micro F1: ", $s->micro_F1, "n"; # Access a single statistic
print $s->stats_table; # Show several stats in table form
The Statistics::Contingency class helps you calculate several useful statistical measures based on 2x2 "contingency tables". I use these measures to help judge the results of automatic text categorization experiments, but they are useful in other situations as well.
The general usage flow is to tally a whole bunch of results in the Statistics::Contingency object, then query that object to obtain the measures you are interested in. When all results have been collected, you can get a report on accuracy, precision, recall, F1, and so on, with both macro-averaging and micro-averaging over categories.

Mp3Wrap for Linux 0.5
It wraps quickly two or more mp3 files in one single large playable mp3. more>> Mp3Wrap is a free independent alternative to AlbumWrap. Its a command-line utility that wraps quickly two or more mp3 files in one single large playable mp3, without losing filenames and ID3 informations (and without need of decoding/encoding). Also with the possibility of including other non mp3 files, such as PlayLists, info files, cover images, inside the mp3. This means that you obtain a large mp3 that you can split in any moment just using mp3splt and in few seconds you have all original files again! Its useful because files created with Mp3Wrap are easy to download. Infact who downloads has not to know each single song name and easy to play and even if you dont have mp3splt to split file, you can listen to it anyway.<<less

TexToWebPublishing 1.1
This is a Perl script that produces a set of HTML pages from a LaTeX source file. more>>
TexToWebPublishing 1.1 is a good tool for web developers. It is actually a Perl script that produces a set of HTML pages from a LaTeX source file. The script creates one image for each HTML page. Each page in your slide presentation corresponds to one of the Postscript pages you would obtain running LaTeX.
TeXToWebPublishing also produces an index page corresponding to the table of contents you would obtain. Each item of the index page includes a link to the corresponding HTML page. Links into the HTML pages can also be created with a special LaTeX command.
Enhancements:
- The bug regarding the numeration of the HTML pages has been fixed.
- Users can now use LaTeX labels to create links into the pages.
