Stormbaan Coureur is a simulated obstacle course for automobiles. n this game, your objective is to drive your car along an obstacle course. Success depends on total control of the car, and making use of the laws of physics.

Coursor project is a Web application for academic environments.
Coursor is a Web-based academic course system for assigning students to university courses.
It has an evolutionary algorithm for assigning students to the courses they requested. This algorithm tries to find an optimal distribution of students to existing courses while taking their preferences into account.
The system supports multiple roles for users: Admin, Student, Teacher/Prof, or Tutor.
A user can also have multiple roles.
It supports international localization, currently in English, German, French, Russian, and Arabic

- Browser independent usage for students, teachers and admins alike (no frames, no necessary JavaScript, no cookies).
- Platform independent (entirely written in JAVA).
- Runs on APACHE Tomcat and uses a Postgresql Database.

stackviz project is the stack visualizer.

When you debug your program with gdb and you want to imagine what goes on on the stack you can use the stack visualizer.

In order to use it, you have to issue in gdb that three commands:

print $esp
print $ebp
x/48w $esp

If you issue not only that three magic commands, but also something like:

print &< some_variable >

the stack visualizer will know what is the address of this variable and will show you where it lies on the stack. Of course you can do this with more variables.

Tux Racer is a very fun arcade game for Linux.
The main goal in Tux Racer is to have fun! Race down mountainous terrain as quickly as possible, while collecting herring to increase your score!

Trackballs is a FREE and simple game similar to the classic game Marble Madness.
By steering a marble through a track filled with vicious hammers, pools of acid, and other obstacles the player collects points.
When the ball reaches the destination, the player continue to the next, more difficult track - unless, of course, time runs out first.
Enhancements:
- This update includes new user contributed material (new songs and maps) as well as a number of new API functions and cleanups to make it easier and more flexible to design new levels.
- The built in map editor has some improvements (a few missing features have been added).
- Event callbacks on arbitrary animated objects and customizable score/time bonuses when killing arbitrary animated objects have been implemented.
- The documentation for the built-in scripting language has been rewritten.

pslange project is a ncurses-based clone of the game snake.
pslange is a clone of an old classic game otherwise known as snake or nibbles.
The object of the game is to steer the snake around the screen eating the food that pops up. Every time the snake eats something it grows. If the snake hits an obstacle either itself or the wall, the game ends.
I wrote pslange as a small learning project in order to learn python. It may not be the most advanced game but I belive it is an entertaining way to spend a few minutes. :-)
Since it does have several features common to many python based command line tools, it may be useful to some people as an example on how to do these things in python.
