Unlimited Simulator project is a general purpose simulator.
Unlimited Simulator is not a game. Its a basis to create whatever simulations you want, from games to scientific simulations.
You only have to worry about physics, controls and how the world looks like. It can be at the same time a car simulator, a spaceships war game, or a scientific simulation.
While you can do these things on their own, Unlimited Simulator provides the ability to do all three at once. It allows interaction of completely different kinds of clients, thus achieving unprecedent realism and complexity.
Main features:
- multiplayer: many players by internet or two in your computer;
- create your own vehicles, tracks, terrains, sounds, objects;
- vehicles may have their own physical simulation functions, and interact with the game, creating new objects, destroying others. They can fly or float or move underwater; they can be animals, or surrealistic creations. You create.
- track can contain structures as loops, bridges, banked curves, and anything you can do with polygons;
- creating a track can be done DRAWING on the terrain (not implemented yet);
- objects can be animated and intelligent!
- everything is modular: this means almost all the stuff is plugable! No need to recompile the code;
- last, but not least: GPLed!
Enhancements:
- big debugging in ulengine/primitives.c. Several allocation problems solved.
- review of network code: structs separated in a new header, shared/net.h, and other improvements in code itself.
- review of client plugin format (what functions, names, etc).
- wrappers for the not-so-standard standard C variable types in config.h.
- cosmetic changes in some places, specially ulengine.h.
- BIG debugging in ulengine/project.c and ulengine/graphic.c. Only a billion or so bugs left.
- improved ulengine/demo.c; tests now include graphic functions.
- fixed two small bugs in drawHLine due to rounding.
- added a new projection system. Not tested yet.
- graphics test phase started: drawPixel, drawHLine, drawLine, drawFlatTri and drawShadedTri are working.
- modified POLY_UL structure: SCREENP_UL *projected field was deleted. This field is really unecessary, and deleting it saves 2*sizeof(int) bytes for each vertex. Projections are not individually saved anymore (why should they be after all?). See ulengine/project.c:projectP() to see how projected points are handled.
- added ulengine/image.c, to handle image operations.
- added ulengine/effects.c.
- textures support implemented.
- several small optimizations in ulengine/graphic.c.
- work in the server communications system.

Veterinary Calculator was designed specifically for veterinary clinics, the purpose behind this application is to allow veterinarians to do the conversions necessary for their job quicker.
The calculator includes features to allow you to convert from various common units like pounds and kilograms, as well as convert weight to body surface area for cats and dogs. Ultimately this application will include everything necessary to calculate drug dosages for any animal, however for now its features are primarily limited to cats and dogs.
This calculator is now and always will be free. The reason for the decision to make this application free is to improve the welfare of all animals by reducing the costs associated with keeping them healthy.
Enhancements:
- This is a minor release to fix some text to make things easier to understand, and to fix building on Linux with nant.
- This is also likely the last GPL release; the next release will be LGPL or perhaps even BSD licensed.

TkGate is a event driven digital circuit simulator with a tcl/tk-based graphical editor. TkGate supports a wide range of primitive circuit elements as well as user-defined modules for hierarchical design.
The distribution comes with a number of tutorial and example circuits which can be loaded through the "Help" menu. The example circuits include a simple CPU, programmed to run the Animals game. TkGate is free software provided with source code under the Gnu Public License.

PyPedal project is a Python module that provides tools for the manipulation of pedigrees, simple visualization of pedigrees, and the calculation of measures of genetic diversity from pedigrees.
Enhancements:
- Added PyPedalError and PyPedalPedigreeInputFileNameError classes. Now the exception raised in NewPedigree::__init__() actually works sort-of correctly.
Did some more work in pyp_newclasses/NewAnimal::__init__() to make sure that string methods are not called on non-strings.
pyp_newclasses/NewAnimal::string_to_int() now uses a new hashing algorithm taken from "Character String Keys" in "Data Structures and Algorithms with Object-Oriented Design Patterns in Python" by Bruno R. Preiss: http://www.brpreiss.com/books/opus7/html/page220.html#progstrnga.
This fixes the collision problem with the previous algorithm (but any algorithm that produces, say, 32-bit integers will collide under the right circumstances).
OK, the problem with pyp_utils/reorder() has been identified: Ori Pelegs hashing approach used in pyp_newclasses/NewAnimal::string_to_int() is colliding. For example, the strings ANJHL5876DC and ONNLDF348RC hash to the same value.
Made a change to pyp_newclasses/NewAnimal::__init__() so that animal, sire, and dam names are correctly assigned even if integral IDs are passed rather than strings.
pyp_newclasses/NewPedigree::preprocess() no longer casts animal, sire, and dam IDs to strings when adding pedigree entries for missing sires and dams. The cast was breaking the founder assignment code in pyp_newclasses/NewAnimal::__init__().
Turned off a bunch of debugging messages left on in pyp_utils/reorder().
pyp_utils/assign_offspring() was rather thoroughly broken due to errors introduced when the new object model conversion was made.
Enhancements:
06/26/2007 More bugfixes to pyp_utils/reorder(). The
orderdict and orderbackdict dictionaries are now correctly
updated when an animal in the pedigree is moved. This fixed
cases where the pedigree was not correctly reordered. When
this happened, pyp_utils/renumber() caught KeyErrors while
looking up sires/dams and set parents to unknown, ignoring
known relationships in the pedigree. George Wigganss
persistent reports that the relationships being calculated
were just not right led to the root cause of the problem.

06/21/2007 pyp_utils/reorder() will now write error
messages to the logfile and STDIO if a pedigree could not be
renumbered in renumber_max_rounds of iteration.
06/21/2007 Added new parameter, max_rounds, to
pyp_utils/reorder(). pyp_newclasses/NewPedigree passes
renumber_max_rounds to reorder, but the routines in
pyp_nrm/* do not.

100 rounds.

correctly works with pre-calculated NRM.
06/20-/2007 Added a new function, pyp_io/write_ijk(), which
saves an NRM to a disk in ijk format, where i and j are
animal IDs and k is either (1. + the coefficient of
inbreeding) when (i == j) or coefficient of relationship
when (i != j).
