YAWn! Linux project is a client for the YAWn! Wolfenstein player tracking service.

YAWn! Linux is a client for the YAWn! service, which keeps track of the names used by players of "Return to Castle Wolfenstein".

Players are tracked by their unique PunkBuster GUID, and thus players cannot hide behind a fake name to play recklessly or purposely misbehave. YAWn! adds a console command to "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" that lists all players like PunkBuster does.

However, this command also displays the other names that the player has used before, or (for players that use YAWn! themselves) the name and taunt-message that the player chose at registration.

DeLi Linux stands for "Desktop Light" Linux. It is a Linux Distribution for old computers, from 486 to Pentium MMX 166 or so. Its focused on desktop usage.
DeLi Linux project includes email clients, graphical web browser, an office package with word processor and spreadsheet, and so on. A full install, including XFree and development tools, needs not more than 250 MB of harddisk space.
The trick is, that DeLi Linux uses only "lightweight" alternative software. If you are looking for the newest KDE, GNOME or Mozilla, DeLi Linux will not make you happy. The test computer is a 486 laptop with 16 MB RAM, and all apps which comes with DeLi Linux are running smoothly.
"Why the heck make a Linux for such old crap ?" you may ask. There are still many computers around with the configuration mentioned above, it would be a shame to waste them. Many people simply cannot buy a 2 Ghz machine for 1000 $ or more, but they can buy a Pentium I 133 for 50 $ from ebay.
Many people are still happy with the computer they bought five years ago. Especially in the so-called third world, new hardware is not affordable. Well, theres still Windows95 or Windows 3.1, which will run on these machines, too. But these versions are not supported by MS anymore, they are no longer in production, and finally, you will not get any software for this old Windows version.

nionet is a complete client/server VPN solution for raw ethernet tunnels. Clients are available for Linux and Windows; the server is Linux only.
Due to its object oriented architecture, it is possible to easily plug in new transports. So far it features UDP and DNS tunneling. Being an ethernet layer 2 bridge, several network segments can be connected transparently.
When used in an ISP environment, nionet allows per-user traffic-shaping and precise reporting of used bandwidth. On the fly load balancing is possible. nionet uses sqLite or MySQL for account storage; changes to accounts are immediately active.

CTBClient is a mobile client for the CTB. The main objective of CTBClient is to allow registering expenses and other financial events in the road, and later uploading them to the mother system.
It puts in use a set of exciting technologies: Bluetooth, Python SQL DBI, serialization (marshaling) of objects, GTK+, Python for Series 60 Nokia cell phones (known as S60), perhaps PyObjc in future Mac OS X versions etc. CTBClient is also meant to be a guinea pig for portable Python development.
CTBClient is a project sponsored by INdT - Instituto Nokia de Tecnologia (Nokia Institute of Technology), where I work and have the environment and time to make such experiments.

1. Game Resources: You will need to get the Neverwinter Nights game resouces from one of these locations:

from an existing Windows installation of the 1.29 build of Neverwinter Nights (instructions below)

2. CD-Key: You will have to purchase a copy of the game to get a valid Neverwinter Nights CD-Key. Of course, with this purchase you also get a lovely Neverwinter Nights mapkin, a spiral-bound game manual, and three plastic-coated aluminum-reinforced W1nd0z3 brand coasters.

ThinTUX is a small Linux distribution for thin clients. It has support for all major remote access protocols like ICA, RDP, XDM, telnet, ssh, and more.
