PeaZip project is an archiver tool that supports its native Pea archive format (featuring compression, split volumes, and flexible encryption and integrity check schemes) and other mainstream formats, with special focus on handling open formats.
Full support: 7Z, 7-Zip sfx, Bzip2, Gzip, PEA, split TAR and ZIP.
Browse/test/extract-only support for ARJ, CAB, CHM, CPIO, DEB, ISO, LZH, NSIS installers, OOo files, RAR, RPM, Z.
PeaZips UI aims giving aid to the user to: edit, save and restore layout of archives (input files and folders list) to speed up definition of archiving and backup operations; save job definition, as plain text, to be used in scripts or for learning purpose; have a detailed job log after each operation.
The interface is fully skinnable (skins can be customised and saved as plain text to be re-edited as freely as possible) and uses customisable transparency.
The program doesnt need to be installed/unistalled, it can run from any path (even remote; a writeable path is recommended), however Windows version is released both as a standalone binary and as a fully automated installer/uninstaller package, allowing tight system integration to use PeaZip right from Explorer.
PeaZip acts as a graphic frontend for Pea executable (graphical) from the same Author and for Igor Pavlovs 7z executable (Myspaces 7z POSIX port under Linux), that can run in console mode or through a graphical wrapper to allow more user-friendly handling of output information.

Autoconf Macro Archive aims to provide a collection of reusable Autoconf macros as free software.

The archive currently features more than 300 macros which perform portability tests ranging from compiler support for weird language extensions to automatic generation of sophisticated Automake rules.

However, all these macros have been contributed by friendly supporters of the cause from all over the Internet; the archive really just collects and distributes them.

Archive::Zip is a Perl module which provides an interface to ZIP archive files.

The Archive::Zip module allows a Perl program to create, manipulate, read, and write Zip archive files.

Zip archives can be created, or you can read from existing zip files.
Once created, they can be written to files, streams, or strings. Members can be added, removed, extracted, replaced, rearranged, and enumerated. They can also be renamed or have their dates, comments, or other attributes queried or modified. Their data can be compressed or uncompressed as needed.
Members can be created from members in existing Zip files, or from existing directories, files, or strings.

This module uses the Compress::Zlib library to read and write the compressed streams inside the files.

Fischerscope-parse project is a php script for parsing data out of WinHCU, software accompanying the Fischerscope H100 nanoindenter.
Main features:
- gathers data from all exported files (WinHCU can not export whole datasets, so data has to be exported one by one into separate files)
- corrects bad exports (exporting the data after discarding a measurement, results in a mixture of the original and modified data in the CSV)
- rearranges data into readable form (exported files contain data in two blocks each with different structure making it hard to read/match the data)
- performs AVRG/STDEV statistics of measured data (WinHCU doesnt provide statistical analysis at all)
- prints averages and errors which can easily be imported in common plotting software such as GNUPlot or Origin.
Results are either displayed and discarded or stored temporarly.
INSTALLATION
Unzip the package in somewhere below the server root, and set the ownership to the httpds user. I.e.:

USAGE
The script asks you to upload a zip archive containing the exported CSV files (please note that the zip archive cannot have a structure such as directories) and presents parsed data in a html page.

Comix is a comic book viewer. It reads zip, rar, tar, tar.gz and tar.bz2 archives (often called .cbz, .cbr and .cbt) as well as normal image files. It is written in Python and has a simple user interface using pyGTK.

Extract archive is a service menu that allows you to extract any archive file that ark is capable to read + ACE files.
You can chose to extract here, or in a subdirectory. In that case, it asks you the name of the subdirectory where you want to extract, and suggests you the archive name by default.
To install, simply extract, and move the 2 files in ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus
Its highly recommended to download the latest version of unace on www.winace.com and to run this command line in the unace directory location : sudo cp unace /usr/bin/unace
You should desactivate ark integration into kde by going into the configuration menu of ark.
