Ttyutils 1.4.2 / 2.0.12 is created as a suite of UNIX/Linux terminal utilities which includes ttyexec, ttylook, ttyadmin, and a few extension programs. ttyexec execute command on a pseudo terminal, capture all stdandard output from command, pass them to built-in virtual terminal emulator and real terminal.
Users feel no differ between ttyexec executed command and direct executed command. By virtual terminal emulator, administrator can watch specific condition to triger event. for example, user want to execute a program by other program status, but want not or can not modify that program, in such case, ttyexec is useful.
ttyadmin is a administrator tool, which use ncurses(3X) window interface, view and control exists ttyexec instances. ttylook similarity BSD watch(1) program, but has not too many limits, it can easy connect to exists ttyexec instance, snoop on that terminal output, or input data to that terminal if enter writable mode. Extension programs includes ttyfeed, ttysnap and so on, each of them support `--help command line option. Ttyutils has not-bad manual in .info, .html, .pdf, and .ps format, thanks for GNU texinfo(5).

This program was developed using the GNU C++ compiler and related tools.
Limitations in SCalc
-- The screen does not scroll. The entire spread sheet is the size of
the terminal screen with five columns, A to E, and nine rows 1 to 9.
-- Numbers are double precision floating point and are displayed in
scientific format or in floating point format.
-- Column widths will are fixed at 14 spaces. Text that exceeds the column
width is clipped in the cell view. Numerical data in scientific
format should always fit this space.

The xterm program is the standard terminal emulator for the X Window System. xterm patch provides DEC VT102/VT220 and Tektronix 4014 compatible terminals for programs that cant use the window system directly.
If the underlying operating system supports terminal resizing capabilities (for example, the SIGWINCH signal in systems derived from 4.3bsd), xterm will use the facilities to notify programs running in the window whenever it is resized.
I decided to work on this in early 1995, to support ded and add (and incidentally ncurses) in the X environment. Several people had made modifications to xterm to support color, but none (except for the completely independent rxvt) implemented background color erase. That is rather like preferring MS-DOS to UNIX. Completely mystifying.
Being bogged down in ncurses, I didnt get involved in xterm until the very end of 1995, after working on atac.
I implemented a workable version of colorized xterm just at the point where XFree86 3.1.2B was announced, complete with a color xterm. As luck would have it, theyd incorporated the "old" color model. So I joined the XFree86 project to fix it.
As I learned more about xterm, I realized that it implemented part of VT220 (i.e., the locking shifts for extended character sets). Since a number of people on the Internet are looking for a good VT220 emulator, it seemed a natural follow-on project to make xterm a good VT220 emulator.
By the release of XFree86 3.2, I had implemented most of the control sequences, except for a handful (DECSTR, the KAM and SRM modes, the ones pertaining to doublesize and soft characters, and of course, blink).
Enhancements:
