colorname is both a plugin for The Gimp as well as a standalone tool that tries to assign a name to a color, using external color definitions and linear algebra.

For this it calculates the euclidean distance between the currently selected color and all predefined colors, either in the RGB or HSV color space.

This project is licensed under the GPLv3.

Usage:

Standalone

Just start colorname.py

Once installed you can find colorname in the GIMP under: ”< Toolbox >/Xtns/Colorname”

suser-jengelh Kernel Patchset is a patch collection for the Linux kernel. suser-jengelh Kernel Patchset includes code from a lot of projects, such as ttyrpld, MultiAdmin, parts of NF POM, cdfs, unionfs, and various accumulated bugfixes still not present in the vanilla kernel.
Enhancements:
- New netfilter modules (xt_TRACE, xt_connlimit, xt_u32, xt_gateway, xt_TARPIT, xt_time) and tproxy4 have been added.
- A number of patches have been outsourced to standalone packages.

KFlickr is a standalone KDE application that allows for easy upload of your favourite photos to your Flickr.com account.
Main features:
- drag and drop from other applications (such as Konqueror and DigiKam)
- easy editing of your photo properties (title, description, privacy, tags)
- access to your Flickr.com list of tags
- support for more than one user
- image preview
- support for the new Flickr.com authentication
KFlickr was created and designed to meet my requirements but does not have to stop there. If you have any features that you feel would make KFlickr a better product please let me know.

DocBook Doclet project creates DocBook XML from Java source documentation or HTML files. It is helpful if you want to create reference handbooks of your API.

Normally it is used with the Javadoc tool but it can also be used as a standalone application to convert HTML to DocBook.

Additionally it comes with a Swing application to manage documentation projects and to transform the resulting DocBook files to PDF, Postscript, HTML, or JavaHelp.

Clover.ETL is a Java based ETL framework which can be used to transform structured data. While using JAVA technology it allows for platform independence.
Clover framework can be used standalone as an application run from command line or can be embedded into Your application. Clover.ETL is released under LGPL License.
Clover.ETL is used by many individual developers and several companies, which embeds it into their solutions.
Enhancements:
- The internal transformation language has been improved.
- All reader and writer components support the same set of parameters (dataPolicy, skipFirstLine, skipRows, numRecords, etc.).

NRPG Ratiomaster is a small standalone application which fakes upload and download stats of a torrent to almost all bittorrent trackers.

This means that it does NOT rely on your bittorrent client (uTorrent, Azureus, etc.) and it will NOT download/upload the files on a torrent - it only can fake download/upload.

The application has hardcoded emulations for the most commonly used BitTorrent clients: uTorrent, BitComet, Azureus, ABC, BitLord, BTuga, BitTornado, Burst, BitTyrant, BitSpirit.

Units-filter is a basic standalone filter written in C, flex, and bison.
It inputs strings like "1.5e3 nN.m.s^-1" (which could be the time growth ratio of a torque) and outputs the value in standard SI units, followed by the physical dimension of this value.
units-filter can be embedded in educational test systems, in order to analyze a students answer to a problem of physics or chemistry.
Enhancements:
- The support for quantities with a particular number of significative digits was added.
- For example, the entry "1.02m#5" or "1.0200m" are equivalent and signify a distance measurement precise at the sub-millimeter scale.
- Both would yield the output "1.0200e+00 m".

PyBridge is a free online bridge game.
PyBridge is software which lets you play the card game of (contract) bridge, with human players, over the Internet or a local network.
