Apache Beehive for Unix 1.0.2

Apache Beehive for Unix 1.0.2

an open-source project for creating a component model for J2EE more>> NetUI: An annotation-driven web application programming framework that is built atop Struts. NetUI centralizes navigation logic, state, metadata, and exception handling in a single encapsulated and reusable Page Flow Controller class. In addition, NetUI provides a set of JSP tags for rendering HTML / XHTML and higher-level UI constructs such as data grids and trees and has first-class integration with JavaServer Faces and Struts.
Controls: A lightweight, metadata-driven component framework for building that reduces the complexity of being a client of enterprise resources. Controls provide a unified client abstraction that can be implemented to access a diverse set of enterprise resources using a single configuration model.
Web Service Metadata (WSM): An implementation of JSR 181 which standardizes a simplified, annotation-driven model for building Java web services.
In addition, Beehive includes a set of system controls that are abstractions for low-level J2EE resource APIs such as EJB, JMS, JDBC, and web services.

Tk::CmdLine contains process standard X11 command line options and set initial resources.

SYNOPSIS

Tk::CmdLine::SetArguments([@argument]);

my $value = Tk::CmdLine::cget([$option]);

Tk::CmdLine::SetResources((@resource | $resource) [, $priority]);

Tk::CmdLine::LoadResources(
[ -symbol => $symbol ]
[ -file => $fileSpec ]
[ -priority => $priority ]
[ -echo => $fileHandle ] );

Process standard X11 command line options and set initial resources.

The X11R5 man page for X11 says: "Most X programs attempt to use the same names for command line options and arguments. All applications written with the X Toolkit Intrinsics automatically accept the following options: ...". This module processes these command line options for perl/Tk applications using the SetArguments function.

This module can optionally be used to load initial resources explicitly via function SetResources, or from specified files (default: the standard X11 application-specific resource files) via function LoadResources.

WS-Management is based on a suite of web services specifications and usage requirements that exposes a set of operations focused on and covers all system management aspects.
This specification identifies a core set of Web service specifications and usage requirements to expose a common set of operations that are central to all systems management. This comprises the abilities to:
- Discover the presence of management resources and navigate between them
Get, Put, Create, Rename, and Delete individual management resources, such as settings and dynamic values
- Enumerate the contents of containers and collections, such as large tables and logs
- Subscribe to events emitted by managed resources
- Execute specific management methods with strongly typed input and output parameters

Guikachu 1.5.11

Guikachu 1.5.11

Guikachu is a GNOME resource editor for PalmOS. more>>
Guikachu is a resource editor for PalmOSTM systems. Guikachu project allows you to visually create dialog boxes, menu bars and windows for your Palm application in the GNOME desktop environment.
If you are familiar with PalmOS development, you may have encountered one of the numerous resource editors running in the Windows or MacOS operating environments, and wished for a UNIX application that does the same, because it is your operating system of choice. Or maybe youve always created RCP files by hand and wondered if theres an easier and faster way.
Guikachu is a PalmOS resource editor that runs in the UNIX environment, using the GNOME desktop framework. At the time of writing this manual, Guikachu is the only PalmOS resource editor application for UNIX systems. If youve used Glade, a user interface editor for GNOME, the interface of Guikachu will look familiar.
Unlike most of the applications available for Windows and MacOS, Guikachu is Free Software as defined by the terms of the GPL. You are not only allowed, but encouraged to look at the source code, give it away to your peers, friends and colleagues and modify it to your liking, as long as you grant these same rights to everyone else. See the GNU GPL for the specific license terms.
Main features:
- GNOME-based user interface
- LibXML-based I/O
- Exporting and importing to/from PilRC .rcp files
- Included XSLT stylesheet and shell script to generate RCP files offline
- Supported resources:
- String
- String list
- Dialog
- Menu
- Form
- Bitmap
- BitmapFamily
- Special Blob resource, for storing arbitary RCP fragments
- Per-application resources (e.g. vendor ID)
- WYSIWYG form editor, with native font rendering and cut & paste
Enhancements:
- Files are saved with a default extension of ".guikachu" to avoid unopenable files.
- A crash in the dialog button editor was fixed.

Linux Fusion 3.2.3

Linux Fusion 3.2.3

Linux Fusion installs the fusion module to your kernel. more>>
Linux Fusion installs the fusion module to your kernel.
Fusion is a high level IPC API providing mechanisms for master/slave environments.
In client/server environments clients delegate every operation to the server which has sole access to shared resources.
The master/slave approach eliminates this overhead by virtually merging the processes at the lower level of their implementation.
This way of making multiple processes look like multiple threads gave Fusion its name.
Main features:
- Command encoding and decoding
- Transport of command packets
- Transport of data referenced by commands
- Context switches between client and server processes
- Strict seperation of client and server implementation
- Shared memory for data normally held solely by the server
- High level messaging for virtually local event handlers and callbacks
- Advanced locking techniques for synchronization and access control
- Framework for distributed allocation and cleanup of resources
