FotoFix is a simple image viewer with simple capabilities to take care of freshly downloaded photos from your camera - can walk image lists, rotate images, and remove red eyes (if lucky). The project was inspired by IrfanView for Windows, a great but unfortunately non-portable and closed-source product.
My experience with various image viewers came to a point where I was no longer satisfied with any, so I wrote yet another one.

Fedora 7 / 8 Test 1
Fedora is the next genaration Linux distribution from Red Hat. more>>
Fedora Core is now available from Red Hat and at distinguished mirror sites near you, and is also available in the torrent.
Fedora Core has expanded in this release to four binary ISO images and four source ISO images, and is available for both x86-64 and i386 and also PPC machines.
The Fedora Project is a Red-Hat-sponsored and community-supported open source project. It is also a proving ground for new technology that may eventually make its way into Red Hat products. It is not a supported product of Red Hat, Inc.
The goal of The Fedora Project is to work with the Linux community to build a complete, general purpose operating system exclusively from free software. Development will be done in a public forum. The project will produce time-based releases of Fedora Core about 2-3 times a year with a public release schedule.
The Red Hat engineering team will continue to participate in the building of Fedora Core and will invite and encourage more outside participation than was possible in Red Hat Linux.
By using this more open process, we hope to provide an operating system that uses free software development practices and is more appealing to the open source community.
Main features:
- KDE 3.5.4
- GNOME 2.16
- OpenOffice 2.0.4
- Kernel 2.6.17
- Xen

White Box Enterprise Linux 4 Respin 2
White Box Enterprise Linux is derived from the Free/Open Source Software made available by Red Hat, Inc. more>>
Specifically, this product is forked from the source code for Red Hats _Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3_ product under the terms and conditions of its EULA.
There may be remaining packaging problems and other odd bugs. These are solely the responsibility of the White Box Linux effort and should not in any shape, manner or form reflect on the quality of Red Hats commercial product. In fact, if you need a fully tested and supported OS you probably should go buy their box set.
A fair amount of effort has gone into removing Red Hats trademarks and logos. Should you find one remaining, please report it so that it can be removed.
The goal of this project is to provide an unencumbered RPM based Linux distribution that retains enough compatibility with Red Hat Linux to allow easy upgrades and to retain compatibility with their Errata srpms.
Being based off of RHEL3 means that a machine should be able to avoid the upgrade treadmill until Oct 2008 since RHEL promises Errata availability for five years from date of initial release and RHEL3 shipped in Oct 2003.
Or more briefly, to fill the gap between Fedora and RHEL.

Metacity 2.18.5
Metacity is a lightweight window manager written by Havoc Pennington from Red Hat. more>>
Metacity is a lightweight window manager written by Havoc Pennington from Red Hat. The first version was 2.3, which was released in 2001. Metacity is implemented with the GTK+ 2.x toolkit, and so integrates well with the GNOME 2.x platform.
In fact the intention is to remove the traditional separation between window manager and desktop, and present to the user a single desktop interface.
This means that the limited configuration options available for Metacity are shown as desktop options, not as Metacity options (although there is an optional "Metacity-setup" panel which conflicts with this approach).
Enhancements:
This release fixes a problem with KDE applications appearing to request attention when the user switched workspaces.
- Only activate windows which change their startup ID if the new ID differs from the old. (Thomas) [#400167]

The theme works fine, but the green colors should probably be a bit darker. Thatll be next version.
