WeiLiYu is a chinese/pinyin learning game.

WeiLiYu is a freely available pinyin/Chinese character learning game written in Java. The name means "feed the koi", which is the object of the game.

Playing this game will improve your pinyin and Chinese reading skills.

If some koi do not get fed, up to ten of the characters that you missed most frequently will be shown to you at the end with their correct pinyin for you to study before playing the game again.

The character library selection is limited at the moment, but you can make your own! Its simple - each .wly file is just a text file.

Connect-k project is a framework for experimenting with and testing general AIs for games within the connect-k family.

Connect-k family of games contains games defined by three parameters: k, p, and q. The game is played on a Go-style (but not necessarily size) board. There are two players, black and white, who take turn placing stones on the board. The first player (black) plays q stones on the first turn and each player then plays p stones on every succeeding turn. The first player to form a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal sequence of k stones wins.

The game family includes Tic-Tac-Toe, Go-moku without capture rules, and a new game, Connect-6. Connect-6 was formally introduced and analyzed by Dr. I-Chen Wu in a series of papers that attempted to show that the game is fair. This has not been decisively proven but appears to be the case.

The Connect-k program originated as a University of Minnesota undergraduate Artificial Intelligence course project for the Spring 2007 semester. Aside from me, the project group included Jeff Deitch, Gabe Emerson, and Erik Shimshock. We attempted to develop general game playing algorithms capable of playing any game within the Connect-k family. The Connect-k program we produced is currently the only open source program to play Connect-6.

ScummVM project is a virtual machine for several classic graphical point-and-click adventure games.
It is designed to run: Adventure Softs Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2; Revolutions Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1 and Broken Sword 2; Flight of the Amazon Queen; and games based on LucasArts SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system.
SCUMM is used for many games, including Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more. Compatibility with supported games is continually improving, so check back often.

Attal: Lords of Doom is a strategy game still in development.

Its a turn-based strategy game, that can be played alone (against AI) or against other through a network (local or internet). Attal is available under Linux and Windows.

Untahris Common Playground - you can play several classic fun, simple arcade games. But playing alone is not fun, and you can play them in multiplayer mode (on one computer, local network, or maybe Internet).
Now, Untahris has an original experimental feature, which makes it more than just a bundle of these games! In multiplayer mode each player can play a different game --- however, they play all on the same board. This may lead to funny interactions, battles or alliances between them.
The games in Untahris have been modified to make them better interact with each other. Thus, in each game you are allowed to shoot and collect bonuses, even if it was not a part of the original game.
