Squishdot project is a Slashdot-like weblog application based on Zope.

Z Object Publishing Environment (ZOPE). It allows you to build a web-based

a minimum of configuration and day-to-day management.

FeedBite Feed Me is a Firefox extension that adds Feed Me to the right-click and Tools menu. Use this option to easily add the current page to your FeedBite news blog (custom rss feed).

News notification is a RSS News notification via a popup window.

NOTE: FG/BG Color setting has not been implented yet, but its still in the prefs.
To add site icons, make sure news-notification is not running, otherwise your config will get overwritten.
1. Get the sites favicon.ico, http://www.website.com/favicon.ico or view the main page source and look in the header for "shortcut icon"
2. Load up favicon.ico on your favorite graphics editors, save it as a .png file
3. Copy the png file into $HOME/.news-notification
4. Edit $HOME/.news-notification/config
5. Under the proper feed channel add < icon >icon.png< /icon >

Ryans Electronic Diary Sheet (aka RyansEDS) is a web-based Perl application which allows members of an organization (typically staff) to inform each other of their proposed whereabouts. The project is designed to be a simple shared calendaring application which does require complex (and often proprietary) client/server software.
Like its sister application Ryans In/Out Board it was written to fulfil a need at my employer Contact a Family. Staff needed a simple centralised way to let each other know when they would be out of the office rather than get into the complexities of sharing calendars.
The diary sheet works on a week by week basis and stores its data accordingly. A shell script (bacth file) is supplied which (when run as a scheduled event/cron job) will clear out data older that your chosen limit. Thus data storage is kept to a minimum. The diary sheet itself also has a feature will prevent users from going too far forward or backward.
