Goggles Music Manager is a music collection manager and player. Goggles Music Manager allows you to easily manage your music collection.

Mp3dings is a small, powerful and easy-to-use program that allows you to change the names and edit the meta-information of a large number of mp3 files at the same time.

Programs with similar scope usually lack the ability to process a large number of ID3 tags at the same time. Mp3dings is written in Java and can thus be used on every platform for which there is a Java Runtime Environment.
ID3 is a standard to store meta-information (author, title etc.) inside an audio file. An ID3v1 tag takes up a fixed number of bytes at the end of the file. This makes ID3v1 easy to implement but also severely limits the kind and amount of data such a tag can contain.
ID3v2 tags on the other hand can be arbitrarily large and can be used to store just about any kind of data. Naturally, this makes it quite hard to implement routines that read and write these tags. Mp3dings fully supports ID3v1 tags and a core set of ID3v2 frames (which will be extended gradually).

MyMP3db will display your MP3 collection as a searchable, browsable, streamable Web site. You can use it to stream your music from anywhere to any Icecast compatible MP3 player, and without installing anything.
It is similar to Apache::MP3, but improved. It features a rich, yet easy to navigate interface. You can quickly search across artists, albums, and song titles with autocompletion. Artists and albums can be browsed. Cover art images for each album are supported.

Cedar Backup is a Python package that supports backups of files on local and remote hosts to CD-R or CD-RW media over a secure network connection. Cedar Backup project also includes extensions that understand how to back up MySQL databases and Subversion repositories, and it can be easily extended to support other data sources, as well.
The package is focused around weekly backups to a single disc, with the expectation that the disc will be changed or overwritten at the beginning of each week. If your hardware is new enough, Cedar Backup can write multisession discs, allowing you to add to a disc in a daily fashion. Directories are backed up using tar and may be compressed using gzip or bzip2.
There are many different backup software implementations out there in the free-and open-source world. Cedar Backup aims to fill a niche: it aims to be a good fit for people who need to back up a limited amount of important data to CD-R or CD-RW on a regular basis.
Cedar Backup isnt for you if you want to back up your MP3 collection every night, or if you want to back up a few hundred machines. However, if you administer a small set machines and you want to run daily incremental backups for things like system configuration, current email, small web sites, or a CVS repository, then Cedar Backup is probably worth your time.
Cedar Backup has been developed on a Debian GNU/Linux system and is currently supported only on Debian and other Linux systems. However, since it is written in portable Python, it should in theory run without too many problems on other UNIX-like systems which have a working version of the cdrecord and mkisofs utilities.

Cactus project is an music player.
It shows all your music files in a kind of database, and you can easily browse, edit, and search your collection.
It also supports synchronizing your music collection with a mobile player device. It supports MP3, WAV, and Ogg
Installation:
libfmod v3.73 is needed for cactus.
run ./install.sh to copy libfmod to /usr/lib
you can also install libfmod by hand or from a rpm.
Enhancements:
- A bug which occurred when opening files via the "File -> Open File" menu was fixed.
- A Hungarian translation was added.

JavaDoc Taglets Collection is set of general purpose taglets for use with the JavaDoc tool. It provides a standard set of new tags, and allows you to create new ones by configuration or using simple Java interfaces. The project has been tested with J2SE 1.4 and 1.5 and JavaSE 1.6.
