dbmstools module exists mainly for developers who need to support applications on more than one database management system (DBMS). dbmstools is intended to allow all the database information (schema and base data) to be kept in one single place, and to have DBMS-specific scripts (to create and populate the database schema, and upgrade from one version to the next) generated from that data. If youre anything like me you hate duplication in software code, and I wrote this module to remove that duplication.

As well as generation of DBMS-specific DDL and DML, dbmstools can generate schema documentation for any DBMS (including diagrams), and can export data from a database in several formats. It also has wrappers for several of the tools, so that they can be run from within Apache Ant (a Java build system).

The DBMSs supported (and the completeness/maturity of that support) are:

- Postgres (7 and 8) - very good
- Oracle - good
- Microsoft SQLServer - good
- MySQL - good
- Hypersonic - limited.

abcm2ps is a package that converts music tunes from ABC format to PostScript.
Based on abc2ps version 1.2.5, it was developed mainly to print baroque organ scores that have independant voices played on one or more keyboards, and a pedal-board.
It introduces many extensions to the ABC language that make it suitable for classical music.
Whats New in 4.12.30 Stable Release:
- Minor issues with the command "%%withxrefs" and "&" at the start of tunes were fixed.
Whats New in 5.5.1 Development Release:
- Several internal changes were made, and the option f was added in %%staffbreak.

Kfb (KDE Firebird Basictool) is a GUI administration tool for the Firebird database system. The application includes most functions offered by Firebird and introduces some new operations said to be impossible

Kfb is programmed with KDevelop (C++ and Qt). It is fully GUI and based mainly on IBPP, another open source project of C++ interface to Firebird APIs. Kfb also includes some other libraries, ncrypt and fbcopy, and all of them are open source projects.

AprendeClick is a Live CD that contains a collection of interactive and educational applications (most are games).
AprendeClick was created mainly for Spanish speakers.
Enhancements:
- This release improves application access and adds two documents to the desktop: the license and a FAQ list.

librs232 is a library with implementation of RS232/serial communication protocol. Library is released under the term of LGPL license.

This library has been developed mainly for libbehate and cobehate projects, but it can be used easily standalone.

This library currently supports Linux and Windows RS232/serial stacks.

Build

chmod +x autogen.sh
./autogen.sh
./configure --prefix=$PWD/../build
make install

You should have now librs232 compiled under your temp/build directory.

Grey Matter is a CGI-based logging application suitable for a variety of purposes, mainly blogging. The project doesnt require a backend database and features a very flexible template system, as well as a karma and comment system.
Enhancements:
- Continuing code refactoring, with small admin UI enhancements such as paging on very long screens.
- Contains security enhancements and bugfixes as well.
