cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs with a CDR/CDRW recorder. It works as a burn engine for several applications.
cdrtools supports CD recorders from many different vendors; all SCSI-3/mmc- and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should also work.
Supported features include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI drives, audio CDs, data CDs, and mixed CDs, full multi-session support, CDRWs (rewritable), TAO, DAO, RAW, and human-readable error messages.
cdrtools includes remote SCSI support and can access local or remote CD writers.
Enhancements:
- A +-1 size realloc() problem was fixed in TOC handling for cdda2wav.
- A workaround was added for a double free problem in mkisofs, introduced with multi-extent file support, that caused it to dump core on Cygwin.

Spring IDE for Eclipse project provides Eclipse plugins to ease working with Bean Factory configuration files for the Spring Framework.
It contains a Spring project nature (with an incremental builder for validating Spring bean config files), an image decorator (which decorates Spring projects and all Spring bean config files), a Spring view (which allows one to browse Spring projects and their Spring bean config files, including bean properties), and an editor showing a graph from the beans of a single config file or a set of config files.
Main features:
- Project nature which support a list of Spring bean config files and sets of bean config files (aka beans config sets)
- Incremental builder which validates all modified Spring bean config files defined in a Spring project
- View which displays a tree with all Spring projects and their Spring bean config files
- Image decorator which decorates all Spring projects, their bean config files and all Java classes which are used as bean classes
- Editor (read-only) which displays a graph from all beans defined in a single config file or a config set

Installation:
- Open Eclipse. Go to Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install.
- Select "Search for new features to install". Click "Next".
- Click "New Remote Site". Enter "Spring IDE updatesite" for the Name and "http://springide.org/updatesite/" for the URL (Screenshot). Click "OK".
- You should now see a a new entry name "Spring IDE updatesite" with a mark next to it (Screenshot). Click on that and check "Spring IDE".
- Click on the mark next to "Eclipse.org updatesite" and check the version of GEF which is sufficient for your version of Eclipse. Click "Next".
- Select the features "Graphical Editing Framework" and the lastest version of "Spring IDE" from the list. Click "Next".
- Check "I accept..." and click "Next". Select or add the appropriate site to install the features. Click "Finish".
- Click Install on the warning dialogs during feature verification (both features are not digitally signed).
- After successfully downloading and installing the features click "Yes" on the "Would you like to restart now?" dialog.

MonoDevelop is a project to port SharpDevelop to Gtk#. There are numerous goals that MonoDevelop hopes to achieve.
Main features:
- To create a best of breed development environment for Unix systems for C# and Mono.
- Since its written in Gtk#, and we like Gtk# and we get good support from Gtk#, most likely it will add functionality to improve the Gtk# experience.
- Today the IDE is a simple IDE and on Unix does not do GUI design, but we plan on adding a GUI designer.
- We want to integrate the tools we have been building so far, so things like MonoDoc, NUnit-Gtk and the debugger should target MonoDevelop.

lshw (Hardware Lister) is a small tool to provide detailed information on the hardware configuration of the machine.

Hardware lister can report exact memory configuration, firmware version, CPU version and speed, cache configuration, bus speed, mainboard configuration, etc. On DMI-capable x86 or EFI (IA-64) systems and on some PowerPC machines (PowerMac G4 is known to work).

Information can be output in plain text, XML or HTML.

It currently supports DMI (x86 and EFI only), OpenFirmware device tree (PowerPC only), PCI/AGP, ISA PnP (x86), CPUID (x86), IDE/ATA/ATAPI, PCMCIA (only tested on x86), USB and SCSI.

NuSphere PhpED IDE is a professional integrated development environment.

NuSphere PhpED is intended mostly for building database-driven web-applications using php scripting language, although a lot of other popular languages such as HTML, XML, CSS, Perl, Javascript, Python are supported.

PhpED is a robust code editor, powerful php debugger, profiler and publisher – all-in-one. It also includes integrated database and CVS clients, SOAP services, HTML validator and Code Formatter tools, Terminal support and much more.

PBButtons is a daemon to handle special hardware on the Apple iBook/PowerBook/TiBook. It controls the display brightness, the sound volume, mutes the sound, changes the trackpad mode, puts the machine to sleep, or ejects the CDROM on command.
PBButtonsd project also provides basic power management features. An included client gives the user visual feedback about all actions with nice little popup windows.
Enhancements:
- remove hdparm option -p because the option does not do what it is supposed to and anyway the kernel does a good controlling the IDE speed settings.
