S-M-S stands for Slackware Mini Server ans is a Linux operating system console based and manageable through webmin interface. Although described as a mini server, have all the features of a powerful server such as apache2, sendmail, spamassassin, clamav, squid, iptables firewall, mysql, cups and lot of other stuff.
S*M*S also features TorrentFlux, a powerful php based bit torrent client that can be managed from anywhere, making this server not only server administrators interest, but simple users too that want to download torrents safe and secure.
This server runs from a live CD or installed on a hard disk through a text installer. The liveCD created with linux-live scripts and the text-installer taken from Slaxs development.

ServerKit project is a SDK for building server programs on Linux.
It consists of:
server
A core program, which loads application-specific modules to perform unique server duties. This program is also responsible for all configuration parsing and creation of database pools, which are made available to the modules.
libserver
A shared library, which provides base functionality for the server program, in addition to implementing the ServerKit API

If one server goes down, users can switch over to the second server in very short order.
- Using a dual-server setup, downtime due to server maintenance or upgrades becomes next to nothing. You can switch your users to the secondary server, take the primary server down, perform the maintenance/upgrades without the pressure of a down server situation, bring it back up, switch the users back to the primary server, then do the same cycle with the secondary server if necessary.
