lisp-network-server is a simple framework for writing Common Lisp network applications.

lisp-network-server framework takes care of listening on the network, accepting the connection and starting a new thread with handler functions of your network aware application.

Network Time Tools (NTT) is a set of network tools designed to provide monitoring of a network and the services on that network, and provide various reports on the hosts/services and optional alerts via email, pager, and cellphones. It also has the capability to send messages on user-specified services to email, pagers and cell phones.

PTlink IRC Services provides channel/nick registration services for IRC networks.
Specially developed for the PTlink IRC Server, it uses modules and includes features like channel roles and nick groups for privilege management.
The data backend is a MySQL database.
Enhancements:
- This version fixes a synchronization problem with user kicks, replaces some fatal errors with warnings, and updates the utility scripts to reflect the latest configuration changes.

Parallel Network Scanner provides a fast network services scanner.
pnscan is a scanner for TCP network services. It uses multithreading to increase its speed.
pnscan tries to be smart as to how many threads to start - it will dynamically start only as many as is needed to make progress in the scan - up to a maximum either as specified with the "-n" command line option, or 8 minus the maximum number of available file descriptors (pnscan tries to increase
it to the max limit automatically) - or any internal limit on the system (Linux normally only allows 256 threads).
Host ranges can be specified both as a CIDR - network name or IP address / mask bit length and as a range. When using CIDR notation - the first and last address is ignored (normally used for broadcasts)

Enhancements:
- pnscan.sgml Added the other options implemented in pnscan.c.
- pnscan.c: Modified the threads startup code to dynamically only start as many threads as is needed.

Network Security Analysis Tool is a fast, stable bulk security scanner designed to audit remote network services and check for versions, security problems, gather information about the servers and the machine, and much more.

A manpage providing extensive information on NSAT has been included in the distribution. It is available after a make install, or just by typing man doc/nsat.8 from this dir. It is suggested that you inform yourself at least about the -v (scan verbosity) option and edit the configuration file. To learn about changes in this version, please consult doc/CHANGES.

New to this version is support for distributed scanning. The manpage describes how to do a distributed scan. Note that distributed scanning in this version is just a preliminary, proof-of-concept, implementation with no guarantees for its security, reliability, or performance.
