Direct Access Provider Library in short DAPL is a transport-independent, platform-independent, high-performance API for using the remote direct memory access (RDMA) capabilities of modern interconnect technologies such as InfiniBand, the Virtual Interface Architecture, and iWARP.
This is the reference implementation of that specification by the DAT Collaborative who maintain the DAPL API.
Enhancements:
- Support was added for new IB verbs client register event.
- Some problems supporting create qp without recv cq handle or recv qp resources were fixed.
- Some timeout and long disconnect delay issues exposed during scalability tests were fixed.
- Minor build problems were fixed.
- Support for multiple IB devices was added to dat.conf to support IPoIB HA failover.
- Support for returning local and remote port information was added.
- The RPM spec file was cleaned up.
- Enviroment variables to configure connection management timers were added.

Template::Provider::OpenOffice is a OpenOffice (ODT) Provider for Template Toolkit.

This module extends Template::Provider to automatically extract the content.xml file from an OpenOffice zip file and run it through Template::Toolkit for processing.

We use OpenOffice::OODoc to actually open the document and extract the content.xml file. This gives us the benefit of having the methods available to add/subtract files in addition to parsing and processing the content file if we want to do some custom work in addition to templating.

Net::Amazon::Property::DVD is a Perl class for DVDs on amazon.com.

Net::Amazon::Property::DVD is derived from Net::Amazon::Property and on top of the all-purpose methods the base class provides, it offers specialized accessors for DVD parameters.

METHODS

title()

Returns the title of the DVD.

studio()

Returns the studio.

directors()

Returns a list of directors. Note that theres also a director() method only returning the first director.

starring()

Returns the same list as the method actors().

upc()

Returns the DVDs UPC as a string.

media()

Returns the DVDs media type as a string.

nummedia()

Returns the DVDs number of media (number of discs) as a string.

theatrical_release_date()

Returns the DVDs theatrical release date.

mpaa_rating()

Returns the DVDs MPAA rating.

features()

Returns the DVDs features as a list of strings. Examples: "Color", "Closed-captioned", "Widescreen".

new(xmlref => $xmlref)

Initializes an object by passing a hash of hashes structure containing the XML data returned from the service. Usually, this is just used by Net::Amazon internally to initialize objects for on backcoming data.
Check out Net::Amazon::Property for all-purpose accessors, like year, OurPrice, ListPrice, etc.

Net::DRI is a collection of object oriented Perl modules that provides an abstract and uniform interface to connect to domain name providers, either registries, registrars or an entity at another level.
Thus Net::DRI can be used by a registrar to establish connections with various registries, or by a reseller that needs to connect with its registrar, or by an end client that needs to connect with its provider, be it a registrar or not, without being forced to use the specific interface available from the provider!
Net::DRI can then allow access to functions that were not even available in the native provider interface, such as batch processing. Furthermore, by hiding differences between providers interfaces, an application using Net::DRI for its connections will almost not have to be changed if there is a need to change providers, or if one provider changes the way it operates (new interface, other protocols, and so on...). With this solution, it is easy to adapt to political or technical changes of its registration providers.
Net::DRI implements many transports and protocols: this allows to take into account specifics of various providers. It is an open framework, and it is easy to add new providers, protocols and transports; it also allows to easily handle cases close to a standard but with few differences. Net::DRI handles synchronous providers (ex: through a web site, the answer comes immediately) as well as asynchronous ones (ex: by email, the answer can come many hours after the request).
Net::DRI implements RRP and EPP, which are two IETF standards. It is the only independant and free implementation of these two standards. Everywhere it is possible, Net::DRI standardizes on EPP (for example for return status codes) by translating other cases to EPP.
Net::DRI can handle many providers simultaneously, even if they offer services in the same domain names, through as many simultaneous connections as needed with various protocols and/or transports for the same provider.
Enhancements:
- This release adds full support for .LU as well as updated support for .AT and .BIZ.
- It also adds two new protocols that can be used by anyone, not only registrars: DAS is used by .BE and .EU to query only the availability of a domain name, and Whois (RFC3912) with parsing is provided for .COM, .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .INFO, .AERO, and .EU.

Net::FTP::File is a Perl extension for simplifying FTP file operations.

desktop-data-manager includes a clipboard history for many different types of content (text, images, ...) and an application to take screenshots from a single window/subwindow, rectangle of the screen or the whole desktop.

Netacct-mysql is modified version of traffic accounting daemon net-acct which stores collected data in MySQL. It supports writing accounting information in a single line in MySQL per day for every IP (mrta style).
Netacct functions by analogy with sniffer, i.e. it keeps track of all the traffic passing through the network interfaces assigned by the configuration file. Data are stored in the memory and periodically saved in the database. The default data save period is 300 seconds (see option "flush" in the config file).
The application is used for accounting of the network traffic passed through your router/gateway. It is based on the libpcap library and functions as a userspace daemon. Options for dividing the network traffic into 4 categories:
- international
- peering
- direct
- local
The traffic accounts are saved in a database, and for the time being MySQL and Oracle are supported. As libpcap is used for gathering the network data the application runs (for the moment) on the following operating systems:
- Linux
- FreeBSD
- OpenBSD
- Solaris
