OpenSSH project is a FREE version of the SSH protocol suite of network connectivity tools that increasing numbers of people on the Internet are coming to rely on. Many users of telnet, rlogin, ftp, and other such programs might not realize that their password is transmitted across the Internet unencrypted, but it is.
OpenSSH encrypts all traffic (including passwords) to effectively eliminate eavesdropping, connection hijacking, and other network-level attacks. Additionally, OpenSSH provides a myriad of secure tunneling capabilities, as well as a variety of authentication methods.
The OpenSSH suite includes the ssh program which replaces rlogin and telnet, scp which replaces rcp, and sftp which replaces ftp. Also included is sshd which is the server side of the package, and the other basic utilities like ssh-add, ssh-agent, ssh-keysign, ssh-keyscan, ssh-keygen and sftp-server. OpenSSH supports SSH protocol versions 1.3, 1.5, and 2.0.
Here are some key features of "OpenSSH":
· Open Source Project
· Free Licensing
· Strong Encryption (3DES, Blowfish, AES, Arcfour)
· X11 Forwarding (encrypt X Window System traffic)
· Port Forwarding (encrypted channels for legacy protocols)
· Strong Authentication (Public Key, One-Time Password and Kerberos Authentication)
· Agent Forwarding (Single-Sign-On)
· Interoperability (Compliance with SSH 1.3, 1.5, and 2.0 protocol Standards)
· SFTP client and server support in both SSH1 and SSH2 protocols.
· Kerberos and AFS Ticket Passing
· Data Compression

AWStats is a free powerful and featureful tool that generates advanced web, ftp or mail server statistics, graphically. AWStats works as a CGI or from command line and shows you all possible information your log contains, in few graphical web pages.
It uses a partial information file to be able to process large log files, often and quickly. It can analyze log files from IIS (W3C log format), Apache log files (NCSA combined/XLF/ELF log format or common/CLF log format), WebStar and most of all web, proxy, wap, streaming servers, mail servers (and some ftp).
As AWStats works from the command line but also as a CGI, it can work with major web hosting provider that allows CGI and log access.
Here are some key features of "AWStats":
· Number of visits, and number of unique visitors,
· Visits duration and last visits,
· Authenticated users, and last authenticated visits,
· Days of week and rush hours (pages, hits, KB for each hour and day of week),
· Domains/countries of hosts visitors (pages, hits, KB, 269 domains/countries detected, GeoIp detection),
· Hosts list, last visits and unresolved IP addresses list,
· Most viewed, entry and exit pages,
· Files type,
· Web compression statistics (for mod_gzip or mod_deflate),
· OS used (pages, hits, KB for each OS, 35 OS detected),
· Browsers used (pages, hits, KB for each browser, each version (Web, Wap, Media browsers: 97 browsers, more than 300 with library file with phone models details),
· Visits of robots (319 robots detected),
· Worms attacks (5 worms families),
· Search engines, keyphrases and keywords used to find your site (The 115 most famous search engines are detected like yahoo, google, altavista, etc...),
· HTTP errors (Page Not Found with last referrer, ...),
· Other personalized reports based on url, url parameters, referer field for miscellanous/marketing purpose,
· Number of times your site is "added to favourites bookmarks".
· Screen size (need to add some HTML tags in index page).
· Ratio of Browsers with support of: Java, Flash, RealG2 reader, Quicktime reader, WMA reader, PDF reader (need to add some HTML tags in index page).
· Cluster report for load balanced servers ratio.
· Can analyze a lot of log formats: Apache NCSA combined log files (XLF/ELF) or common (CLF), IIS log files (W3C), WebStar native log files and other web, proxy, wap or streaming servers log files (but also ftp or mail log files). See AWStats F.A.Q. for examples.
· Works from command line and from a browser as a CGI (with dynamic filters capabilities for some charts),
· Update of statistics can be made from a web browser and not only from your scheduler,
· Unlimited log file size, support split log files (load balancing system),
· Support not correctly sorted log files even for entry and exit pages,
· Reverse DNS lookup before or during analysis, support DNS cache files,
· Country detection from IP location (geoip) or domain name,
· Plugins for US/Canadian Region , Cities, ISP and/or Organizations reports (require non free third product geoipregion, geoipcity, geoipisp and/or geoiporg database)
· WhoIS links,
· A lot of options/filters and plugins can be used,
· Multi-named web sites supported (virtual servers, great for web-hosting providers),
· Cross Site Scripting Attacks protection,
· Several languages. See AWStats F.A.Q. for full list.
· No need of rare perl libraries. All basic perl interpreters can make AWStats working,
· Dynamic reports as CGI output.
· Static reports in one or framed HTML/XHTML pages, experimental PDF export,
· Look and colors can match your site design, can use CSS,
· Help and tooltips on HTML reported pages,
· Easy to use (Just one configuration file to edit),
· Analysis database can be stored in XML format for XSLT processing,
· A Webmin module,
· Absolutely free (even for web hosting providers), with sources (GNU General Public License),
· Available on all platforms,
· AWStats has a XML Portable Application Description.
Limitations:
· Your server must log web access in a log file you can read.
· You must be able to run perl scripts (.pl files) from command line and/or as CGI (Perl 5.00503 or higher required to run AWStats 6.0 or higher).
· If not, you can solve this by downloading last Perl version at ActivePerl (Win32) or Perl.com (Unix/Linux/Other).

ImageMagickTM, version 6.2.2, is a free software suite for the creation, modification and display of bitmap images. ImageMagick can read, convert and write images in a large variety of formats.
Images can be cropped, colors can be changed, various effects can be applied, images can be rotated and combined, and text, lines, polygons, ellipses and Bézier curves can be added to images and stretched and rotated.
ImageMagick is free software: it is delivered with full source code and can be freely used, copied, modified and distributed. Its license is compatible with the GPL. It runs on all major operating systems.
Most of the functionality of ImageMagick can be used interactively from the command line; more often, however, the features are used from programs written in the programming languages Perl, C, C++, Python, PHP, Ruby or Java, for which ready-made ImageMagick interfaces (PerlMagick, Magick++, PythonMagick, MagickWand for PHP, RubyMagick, and JMagick) are available. This makes it possible to modify or create images automatically and dynamically.
ImageMagick supports many image formats (over 90 major formats) including popular formats like TIFF, JPEG, PNG, PDF, PhotoCD, and GIF.
Here are some key features of "ImageMagick":
· Convert an image from one format to another (e.g. TIFF to JPEG)
· Resize, rotate, sharpen, color reduce, or ali special effects to an image
· Create a montage of image thumbnails
· Create a transparent image suitable for use on the Web
· Turn a group of image into a GIF animation sequence
· Create a composite image by combining several separate image
· Draw shapes or text on an image
· Decorate an image with a border or frame
· Describe the format and characteristics of an image
ImageMagick includes a number of command-line utilities for manipulating images:
convert
identify
mogrify
composite
montage
compare
display
animate
import
conjure
Most of you are probably accustom to editing images one at a time with a graphical user interface (GUI) with such programs as gimp or Photoshop. However, a GUI is not always convenient.
Suppose you want to process an image dynamically from a web script or you want to apply the same operations to many images or repeat a specific operation at different times to the same or different image. For these types of operations, the command-line image processing utility is appropriate.

PaX is a kernel patch implementing additional security feature - non-executable memory pages. Forward port from 2.4 with some extra features, but only i386 is known to work, other architectures may not even compile - feedback is welcome. Much like 2.6 itself, PaX for 2.6 is experimental and anything can break sometime.
NOTE: all versions for 2.6 before 2005.03.05 have a privilege elevation bug, you must update as soon as possible.
NOTE: all versions for 2.6 before 2004.05.01 have a local kernel denial of service bug, thanks to ChrisR for bringing it to our attention.
