pDonkeyS is Perl implementation of an eDonkey server. The main goal of the server is to provide framework for further eDonkey protocol exploration, but it could be useful in testing of client software, since the server can be configured to output very detailed debugging info about eDonkey traffic.

Streamnik Server project is an IPTV server based on the open codecs Ogg/Vorbis and Ogg/Theora. It can stream a number of different channels and is optimized to run on leased (virtual) servers. The program schedule is defined by an SQL database table and can be changed at runtime.

Darwin Calendar Server provides a CalDAV server.

The Darwin Calendar Server is a standards-compliant server that allows multiple users to collaboratively share calendaring information. It provides a shared location on the network to store schedules, and allows users to send each other and manage invitations.

In order to provide interoperability with multiple calendaring clients, the server implements the CalDAV protocol, which is an extension of WebDAV, which is in turn an extension of HTTP.

Graffiti Server is a small C program that allows the posting of messages and, optionally, HTML. It displays the most recent messages but has a search function for finding entries with a given keyword or string.

The administrator connects from the local host using IP address 127.0.0.1 and delete messages from any IP.

You can search for any text string and the graffiti server will match against all old messages, as well as new ones, and return those that match.

Right click here and select save... to download a gzipped Linux binary. Right click here for the gzipped source for the graffiti server. The binary is only 45K[2] bytes and the source is only 9K in size (compressed).

To install it, simply gunzip the binary and run it with one of the following commands, then install the same command in your startup files. For example, in many Linuxes, you can put the command in /etc/rc.d/rc.local and it will be executed on each startup.

The general syntax is:

graffiti [port] [directory] [!]

The first argument is the port. If there is only one argument, it must be a port number.

The second argument is a directory name.

The third argument, if present and an exclamation point (!) tells graffiti to allow html postings.

Command examples:

graffiti

(The above will attempt to use port 80, the standard WWW port, will put its files in /var/tmp/ and will disallow html.)

graffiti 7777

(This command will do everything just like the command before it, only it will attempt to use port 7777 instead of 80.)

graffiti 8888 /home/rayy/graffiti/

(This command will put the files in /home/rayy/graffiti/ and will try to run on port 8888.)

graffiti 9999 /home/rayy/graffiti/ !

(This one will, again, put the files in /home/rayy/graffiti but will use port 9999, and will allow html entries.)

The data files take about 1 megabyte but will hold about 2500 graffiti entries, as configured.

If a file named wg####.txt is present in the data files directory, the Graffiti Server will display that file on every page. [Where #### is the port number the Graffiti Server is running on]. You can run as many copies of the graffiti server as you wish on separate ports. Because each copy puts its port number in its file names, there will be no file conflicts.]

At the and youll have the file on the server and a direct link to it in the clipboard. If you want you can also change the name on the local server.

k12admin-server project is a web-based server administration tool for K-12 school systems (server package).
K12Admin is a Wide Area Network administration program geared specifically to K-12 school systems.
It allows teachers in individual schools to administer the accounts in that school. K12Admin will administer the account information on client Linux servers in each school from a central server.
All administration is done through a Web browser interface. The system also includes inappropriate Web use scanning and security auditing. The k12admin-server package is the server part of the K12Admin system.
It will typically be run on only one computer in a district. In order to be fully functional, the k12admin-client package needs to be installed on at least one server, possibly even the k12admin-server machine.
Enhancements:
- Added storyboard database - students and teachers can enter original stories, with pictures.
- Added title field to users table (ie Mr. Mrs. Miss) I use this for the StoryBoard so that a teachers first name is not displayed.
- No usable passwords for default users on new installs
- Passwords for default domain admins (demoteacher, swedishteacher, frenchteacher) are set to the password supplied on install for the mysql database.

RIPE Whois Server provides support for domain records and lookups.

This is a whois database server. The RIPE Whois server uses a backend SQL database to allow support for very large repositories. There is support for IPv6 records and lookups. Both RPSL and RIPE181 are supported.
