Free multiplayer flash games software for linux

Davids Perl Games project is a collection of ASCII graphics arcade style games written in Perl.

These games are recreations of simple ASCII graphics games originally written in BASIC.

They are ideal for use as Perl programming tutorials. Some of the first few games are PerlBlaster (defend your planet from invading aliens), PerlRacer (steer your car through the twisting passages), and PerlArena (eliminate the mutant hordes).

NAND Flash Utilities is a set of utilities for accessing NAND Flash through an IDE interface.

These utilities work with the Linux MTD subsystem to allow developing, testing, and experimenting of NAND Flash on a PC.

Wx::ActiveX::Flash is an ActiveX interface for Shockwave Flash.

ActiveX control for Shockwave Flash. The control comes from Wx::ActiveX, and all methods/events from there exit here too.

** You will need to already have the Flash player installed.

A Games::Battleship::Player object represents a Battleship player complete with fleet and game surface.

comisat Games Collection is an all-in-one free collection of games written in gambas for unix-like system. They are available in italian and (not completely) in english.

comisat Games Collection is FREE SOFTWARE, released under the terms of the GNU General Public License Version 2 as published by Free Software Fundation. You can help the development of comisat Games Collection testing the software, mailing bugs, translating the project in different languages, correcting and improving the code.

Flash! Torrent is a BitTorrent client that includes a small web browser for navigate in the webs about BitTorrent.

BitTorrent is a programl for distributing files. Its extremely easy to use - downloads are started by clicking on hyperlinks. Whenever more than one person is downloading at once
they send pieces of the file(s) to each other, thus relieving the central servers bandwidth burden. Even with many simultaneous downloads, the upload burden on the central server
remains quite small, since each new downloader introduces new upload capacity.

Windows web browser support is added by running an installer. A prebuilt one is available, but instructions for building it yourself are in BUILD.windows.txt

Palabre is an open source (and free as in free beer) XML Socket Python Server.
It is meant to be used in replacement (for example) of the Macromedia Flash Communication Server. (which is lets admit it really expensive)
Of course, its much more limited, but has all the basic functionnalities for connecting Flash based Clients through Xml Sockets (sending and receiving messages).
So you can use it to create, multiuser applications like a Chat, (almost) Real Time Flash Games, Online support, ...
It does not include Video streaming functions ( FLV via RTMP ) instead of Flash Communication Server.
Main features:

- Each Room can have any parameter you want ( A title, a lock, operators, any flag, ...)
- The creator of the room can change this parameters
- The room can have Sub rooms (or child rooms)
- For Example, you can host 10 games and chats on a server, and each game has a lobby room for chatting, and as many subrooms as wanted. Players can chat, start a new game, wait for people to join, and then start the game. (Then the child room of the game can be "locked" so that no one else joins it.

- They are identified by a nickname (like on IRC)
- One client can be in multiple rooms / subrooms
- Clients can send messages to a room
- Clients can send messages to other clients (private messages)
- Clients can send a broadcast message (or reserve this to root)
- Clients can ping the server
- Clients can ask for a "room message" to be sent back to them. (to test latency, ...)
