Free monitor panel software for linux

IceWM Control Panel is a full-featured, GTK-based control panel for IceWM. It features an IceWM theme designer, Ice Sound Manager (for sound events), IcePref2, and tools to manage desktop wallpaper, cursors, keys, window options, and more.
IceWM Control Panel has a familiar, Windows-like Control Panel user interface.
Enhancements:
- This release patches bugs that many users of Python 2.3 experienced while attempting to run the applications.
- In addition, this release adds support for the latest changes and features of IceWM versions 1.2.14 and 1.2.15 .
- This release also features Russian translation updates and French Help file additions .

FTP Monitor is a simple panel applet, which monitors incoming connections to ftpd(vsftpd/ncftpd/pure-ftpd/proftpd) and generates passive popups.
For pure-ftpd, ncftpd, proftpd it acts as a frontend to pure-ftpwho, ncftpd_spy and ftpwho respectively. For vsftpd, it looks in output of ps -fe.
Enhancements:
- Update the change in ftp daemon (or path) withour requiring a restart
- Fixed the bug (introduced in 0.70) that FTP status will not update
- For large panels, the icon is now centered

Link Monitor Applet is a GNOME Panel Applet displaying the round-trip time to one or more hosts in a bar graph.
Main features:

- configurable scale and delays
- HIG 2.0 compliance

vSMP Monitor is the SuperKaramba theme that i have been modifying with time and finally decided to post it.

It is a melting pot of many other themes which i have mentioned in the theme file. Hope you like it.

light-monitor is a transparent panel that depends only on X and Xft. The project comes with light-calendar, a simple, transparent, and lightweight calendar.
These two programs are written to consume the lowest possible amount of resources.
Main features:
- vol Manages the volume (pcm and vol). To change the current volume just clic on it or use the mouse-wheel.
- cpufreq Manages the scaling_governor : blue means powersave, blue and green means ondemand, and blue green and red stands for performance. To change to the next one, just clic on the processor
- load Shows the current load on the system and the processor temperature
- time Shows the time
- date Shows the date
- network Shows the cumulative bandwidth over all network interfaces except lo. It is hidden if current upload and download are null
- ac Shows if the power supply is plugged for laptop
- battery Shows the current percentage of remaining charge in the battery if it is not full. IF ac is unplugged, it shows an estimation of the remaining time too.
Light-calendar
light-calendar is a simple, transparent, and lightweight calendar (12Ko). It is distributed under the license GPLv2.
To see the next month, click on the right arrow. The previous month is accessible using the left one. To come back to the current month, use the o between the two arrows. You can move it by dragging it outside those buttons.
Enhancements:
- The semantic of buttons were changed.
- Now when a button is clicked, its window is redrawn.
- A bug in the config file reader that sometimes duplicated the last widget was fixed.
- The cpufreq applet is now more reactive.
- The README was updated.

UPS monitor is a graphical monitoring application that lets users watch a your UPSs status in real time.
Main features:
- Saves your session if UPS switches to battery power
- Warns you when power is critically low
- Lets you monitor networked UPSes
- Remembers configuration and restarts when you log on
- Extremely easy to use

Flash Operator Panel is a switchboard type application for the Asterisk PBX. It runs on a web browser with the flash plugin.
It is able to display information about your PBX activity in real time. The layout is configurable (button sizes and colors, icons, etc). You can have more than 100 buttons active per screen. On the Live Demo there are 28 buttons defined.
It also supports contexts: you can have one server running and many different client displays (for hosted PBX, different departments, etc). It can integrate with CRM software, by poping up a web page (and passing the CLID) when a specified button is ringing.

- It has two parts: a server writen in PERL, and the flash client. It was tested and its known to work under Windows, Mac and Linux browsers.

Camera Monitor is a little tray system icon that notifies you when your Webcam is on. The project is designed for the GNOME desktop, but will work as well on KDE and XFCE.
