Free modern technology software for linux

Post-Modern is a KDE theme inspired by eriols KDE 4 mockup. However, the window decor should be simple. But, personally i do not know how to do the coding; i tried, i have no programming knowledge.

I am looking for someone interested in helping make the window decor. It would need no masks and the button style i pulled from clear look.

The smartmontools package contains two utility programs (smartctl and smartd) to control and monitor storage systems using the Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology System (SMART) built into most modern ATA and SCSI hard disks. In many cases, these utilities will provide advanced warning of disk degradation and failure.

The suite of smartmontools contains two utilities:

smartctl is a command line utility designed to perform S.M.A.R.T. tasks such as disk self-checks, and to report the S.M.A.R.T. status of the disk.

smartd is a daemon that periodically monitors S.M.A.R.T. status and reports errors and changes in S.M.A.R.T. attributes to syslog.

Keywatch is a free, open source monitoring system that provides the adaptability of a modern monitoring system without being complex or hard to configure.
Keywatch runs on most platforms. The server runs Java OSGi and the client technology is AJAX, requiring only a standard web browser.
By offering Keywatch under the Apache 2 license, we hope to build a community that will contribute functionality for Keywatch to support common monitoring challenges and a lot of specific ones, making Keywatch an attractive alternative to expensive and less flexible systems.

MonetDB is an open source high-performance database system developed at CWI, the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science Research of The Netherlands.
MonetDB project was designed to provide high performance on complex queries against large databases, e.g. combining tables with hundreds of columns and multi-million rows.
As such, MonetDB can be used in application areas that because of performance issues are no-go areas for using traditional database technology in a real-time manner.
MonetDB has been successfully applied in high-performance applications for data mining, OLAP, GIS, XML Query, text and multimedia retrieval.

EvRouter reads events from the Linux input layer, and acts on them according to a user-specified set of rules. Currently, EvRouter can map events to X11 key and button presses, XMMS commands, and it can also run shell commands.

EvRouter is intended to help legacy applications understand modern events such as mouse wheel movement and special keys on keyboards.

Bomns for Linux project is a fast-paced multiplayer deathmatch arcade game.

Its gameplay is best described as "old-school," as it is based on the popular text-based Bomns franchise.
