Free miscellaneous wallpapers software for linux

CWallpaper is a front end for fbsetbg, Esetroot, feh, and other wallpaper changers. This application can also change the wallpaper for Roxs pinboard, and will work with any root wallpaper changer.
Enhancements:
- Scripts have been added for Rox and Nautilus.

Wallpaper Slideshow is a software to make a slideshow in your wallpaper with images in your directory.

This application monitories a directory and put an image in wallpaper before X seconds.

You need mono and if you have ubuntu 6.10, only need to do: sudo aptitude install -y libmono2.0-cil libgconf2.0-cil gtk-sharp2.

Wallpaper Control is a graphical wallpaper manager.

Wallpaper Control is a non-window manager-specific wallpaper manager for the X Window System.

It aims to be a full featured utility for managing and setting your images you use as wallpaper.

Features include a preview window, directory listing, and deletion of graphics from hard drive.

Wallpapoz tool enables your Gnome desktop to have different wallpapers for different workspaces or virtual desktops. It offers quick orientation cues where you are. The other reason is to increase eye candy. In this version, it support randomization.

It means you can group your wallpapers into spesific workspaces. You can manage it so that your cartoon wallpapers will be randomize for certain times in workspace one, your nature wallpapers in workspace two, your adult wallpapers in workspace three and your Gnome wallpapers in workspace four.

There are two programs. One is the daemon that will monitor your desktop continuously. So when you change workspace or specified time has passed, the daemon wil change your desktop wallpaper.

The daemon it self reads your wallpapers list and preferation then acts according to that. The configuration file is written in xml format. Of course you can edit with any text editor but that is not convenient.

To make it easy, there is another program to edit this configuration file. Click the button, find the wallpapers that you would like to put into spesific workspace. Please see the screenshot to see how it works.

The daemon program name is daemon_wallpapoz.py. You need to add this program into Gnome start up programs list if you want every time you log into Gnome session, your Gnome desktop will have the ability to have different wallpapers for different workspaces. But first you need to make the configuration file by using program that called wallpapoz.py.

scanmem is a debugging utility used to isolate the position of a variable in an executing program.
The project is similar to pokefinders used to cheat at games.
Enhancements:
- Performance improvements and reduced scan time, including miscellaneous improvements to various commands.
- A dejagnu test suite was started and the build process was autotooled.
- One serious bug where misaligned variables could potentially be missed by scanmem was fixed along with multiple minor bugs.

mudsbuilder project consists of tools for creating areas for MUDs.
Mudsbuilder is a set of tools for the creation of dungeon maps in MUDs.
Once a map is created, the user has the ability to generate LPC code from that map for virtually any mudlib.
It supports standard (south, north, east, etc.) exits, ups and downs, and miscellaneous exits, such as one-way exits.
Enhancements:

Wchange provides a very simple wallpaper changer.

It requires only java runtime environment (JRE) and gconftool-2.

Usage:

java Wchange /home/folder/pictures/ seconds [random]

Where:

/home/folder/pictures/ is the directory where are wallpapers

seconds is how much time the system will wait between wallpaper switching

random (optional) use it only if you want wallpaper random switching
