PloneInstallation provides a collection of helper scripts for Plone product installation.

This package doesnt add any functionality to Plone. It just provides friendly resources to make Plone adds (un)installation scripts easier.

The packages well cover here are just the legal and political hot potatoes, the stuff that threatens monopolies and worries lawyers.

The Finishing Scripts for Cluster Installations handle specific post-installation configuration that might not be convienent nor possible using existing cluster installation methods.

The usual installation process is used to build a reasonably configured node, and the system then reboots into normal mode, achieves network visibility, and executes the finishing script.

The finishing script handles all of the finer details of installing packaged or non-packaged software, tweaking installation, setting host/net specific parameters/files, etc. It is controlled via a single, easily modified script.

MicroPics is a small Gnome applet that display miniature photos on your Gnome Panel. When the mouse runs over it, Micropics enlarges the image.

Installation:

Execute, as root:

# python setup.py install

should do it.

Now, restart Gnome, and add to the panel Micropics (under Multimedia).

ROSInfo is a simple tool for monitoring signal levels, traffic, and network latency of x86 machines, RouterBoards, and other devices running Mikrotik RouterOS.

The project was designed to be used with Mikrotik RouterOS 2.9 and is being developed and tested on a large network with many Mikrotik routers.

Currently supported and tested are all versions of Mikrotik RouterOS 2.9.

EMailRobot is a simple object-oriented framework for developing email auto-responders.

The difference between SimplyMEPIS and ProMEPIS is that SimplyMEPIS will continue to be a freely available desktop MEPIS bootable CD and ProMEPIS will designate an upcoming multi-CD packaged version of MEPIS.
