mscompress is a Microsofts "compress.exe/expand.exe" compatible (de)compressor.
mscompress project contains two programs:
- msexpand, which decompress files compressed by Microsoft compress.exe utility (e.g. Win 3.x installation files)
- mscompress, which compress files using LZ77 compression algorithm. Output files can be decompressed using Microsoft expand.exe or msexpand(1).
To install it on your Unix box, configure the package ("./configure") and then type "make all test install".

UpdateFTP is an utility that updates an entire web site by ftp. It sends only local files that have been modified in the last upgrade and automatically creates all the remote directories that have been added locally. It overwrites directly files found in remote.

Tired of clicking the reload button? Page Update Checker (aka PUC -- pronounced "Puke" is a FireFox extension that automatically checks to see if web pages have changed.

How to Use:

Once installed, you will be able to right-click on any page in Firefox and select "Monitor for Updates". The PUC options will open up and you can select how often you would like PUC to download the webpage and see if it has changed. To return to the options menu later, select "Tools" -> "Page Update Checker Options..."

Bidwatcher is a free auction tool for eBay users, available for Linux and (soon?) Microsoft Windows. It was created by Trent and Tom McNair, and is currently maintained by volunteers at SourceForge.
