The Xbox Linux Project aims to privide a version of GNU/Linux for the Xbox, so that it can be used as an ordinary computer.
Linux should make use of all Xbox hardware and allow to install and run software from standard i386 Linux distributions.
An Xbox with Linux can be a full desktop computer with mouse and keyboard, a web/email box connected to TV, a server or router or a node in a cluster.
You can either dual-boot or use Linux only; in the latter case, you can replace both IDE devices. And yes, you can connect the Xbox to a VGA monitor.

Gabedit includes graphical facilities for generating keywords and options, molecule specifications and ther input sections for even the most advanced calculation types Gabedit includes an advanced Molecule Builder.
You can use it to rapidly sketch in molecules and examine them in three dimensions. You can build molecules by atom, ring, group, amino acid and nucleoside. You can also read geometry from a file. Most major molecular file formats are supported.
Gabedit includes a Gaussian, Molcas, Molpro and MPQC Calculation Setup window which allows you to set up Gaussian, Molcas, Molpro and MPQC jobs in a simple and straightforward manner.
Gabedit includes a text editor for editing Molcas, Molpro, Gaussian and MPQC input files.

mscompress is a Microsofts "compress.exe/expand.exe" compatible (de)compressor.
mscompress project contains two programs:
- msexpand, which decompress files compressed by Microsoft compress.exe utility (e.g. Win 3.x installation files)
- mscompress, which compress files using LZ77 compression algorithm. Output files can be decompressed using Microsoft expand.exe or msexpand(1).
To install it on your Unix box, configure the package ("./configure") and then type "make all test install".

Medical Imaging Interaction Toolkit (MITK) is currently under active development, and aims at supporting the development of leading-edge medical imaging software with a high degree of interaction. It combines vtk, itk and the pic-based-libraries of the Div.
Main features:
- multiple, consistent views on the same data. For example, when you have three orthogonal 2D-views and a 3D view and data consisting of a green surface, the surface will be visible and green in all views (as contour lines in 2D, as a surface in 3D), and when you move the surface, it will move in all views. When you try to realize this with basic vtk, you will need to coordinate the position/orientation/color/... of all the views somewhere in your program - exactly this can mitk do for you.
- interactions that create and/or modify data (not only actors as in basic vtk)
- complex interactions with multiple states, e.g., for interaction with active contours
- undo/redo of interactions
- organization of data objects in a tree at run-time, e.g., to represent logical dependencies (e.g., a heart cavity is a part of the heart) or to control the rendering process
- additional properties of arbitrary type can be assigned to data objects contained in the data tree
- visualization and interaction with 3D+t data (basic vtk can handle only 3D data and itk is not for visualization and interaction)
- although mitk is mainly a toolkit and not an application, it offers some support on the application-level, e.g, for structured combination of modules (so-called functionalities), e.g., for combining and switching between one functionality for segmentation and another for registration.
