YES Linux is an idea started by Arthur Copeland, CEO of Saphari.com. The idea was to build a low cost suite of products and services that could enable a Mom and Pop Store (MaPs) to quickly and easily build an internet presence.
The project was understood that not all MaPs need to have an internet presence, thus the suite would also have to work while not being connected to the internet. To the MaPs, it should be transparent.
Thus, YourESale was born... and the rest is history. MaPs - MaPs are defined as companies that have between 1 and 20 employees or total gross revenue of less than $200,000.00 per year.
YES Linux is a server appliance for small and medium size networks to quickly and easily build an Internet presence. It completely installs in under 10 minutes and 2 screens.
It features a secure Web server, a secure email server with Web-based email, a firewall, spam filtering, WebDAV support, an FTP server, an SSH server, a PostgreSQL database, the Resin J2EE server, Java, Apache Ant, PHP 5, Autonomous Backups, and complete Web-based administration.

Deme is a Web tool to host asynchronous meetings including discussions, document comments and collaborations, straw polls, and decision- making for small to medium groups of people.
It also provides features useful for groups including file storage, member lists, and the like. It is intended to create an environment to allow participation and help strengthen organizations critical to civil society.
Deme is free software, licensed under the AGPL, for asynchronous interactions that include discussions, document collaboration, polls and decision making among small to medium sized groups of people. Our intent in creating Deme is to support the type of deliberation critical to the functioning of smaller, informal organizations in civil society. C-Cramp project is an interface to MySQL for managing information for small radio stations.
C-Cramp (the C-Cramp College Radio Audio Management Program) is a Web-based frontend to MySQL for managing the types of things that small radio stations might need: audio files, data, and "metadata"; DJ and staff information, schedules, live music and program logs, and all sorts of other data.
Currently, a cross-platform PHP application is the focus of the project, but more features and types of programs are planned that will hopefully enable easier playback, storage, loading, and entering for all types of applicable data.

Non-Networked File System provides a consistent file system over several non networked UNIX computers (or slow networked). For example on your computer at home and at work using only a floppy disk for the synchronisation.

- You dont need to made backup, because if a computer crash the file system is still on the other computers working with NNFS.
- The NNFS medium is choosen by a user shell script, it could be: floppy disk, usb key, serial connection, ...
- Minimal NNFS medium bandwidth to make the updates.
- EASY TO USE: Running ``nnfs command before and after your work.
- Numbered backup of files modified/deleted on NNFS.
- If you modify the same file on several hosts NNFS solves the update conflict.
- The program has been hugely tested.

- This release fixes the case where the user modifies a file mode while NNFS is running and NNFS is configured in order that a file mode change does not imply file synchronization.

offmirror is a utility for mirroring a tree of files. Unlike other mirroring tools, it works offline and does not require a network or some kind of direct connect between the source and the destination.
offmirror makes it possible to place all the data that is needed to synchronize a file tree onto a removable storage medium. offmirror project works with regular files, directories, symbolic links, and special files.

Customer-Touch CRM provides a CRM for small to medium farms.
Version restrictions:
- This application does not work correctly when using Konquerer as your browser. Tested are IE, Opera, and Netscape.
- The statistic routines do not handle an empty database too well. The management information and the site statustics both need some records in the database to function properly. In fact, the whole application handles an empty database quite poorly
- When one uses a really short username/password for the initial account the message "Column password cannot be null" appears. When using a longer username and a longer password, this should work. Ill try and get a decent error message in the next version when this occurs.

OpenLDAP-PostgreSQL Linux HOWTO is a HOWTO for implementing PostgreSQL as an SQL backend for OpenLDAP.

This HOWTO doesnt talk about OpenLDAP, PostgreSQL or iODBC in this document I suppose that you know all that, I just provide my personnal installation of these apps.

So in this new version I will try to give all installation and configuration requirement to have OpenLDAP running with a PostgreSQL backend and a complete live example to let you see how is the work that should be done on a medium directory.

This is what I have in production state in my company with a master Bekerley db backend replicated to a remote LDAP directory using PostgreSQL as backend.
