I am submitting a new version (1.6) without the bug where it outputs the time on startup.

slideshow is a PHP-Script, that creates a nice iTunes-Music-Store-like slideshow of images stored in a special folder.
slideshow script automatically creates thumbnails and previews of the images and caches them in different folders. The image-previews are rendered by the lightbox JS-script of Lokesh Dhakar.
The most important setting can be done in a single config-Script.

dvd-slideshow makes a DVD-compatible slideshow video with menus from a batch of pictures.
dvd-slideshow project consists of a set of scripts: dvd-slideshow reads a text file list of all the pictures you want in one slideshow and creates a DVD-compatible MPEG movie with your audio tracks and specified timing.
It supports effects such as fades, crops, and the Ken Burns effect. dvd-menu makes a top-level DVD menu with the output files from dvd-slideshow. dir2slideshow makes a dvd-slideshow input file from a directory of pictures.
gallery2slideshow makes the input file from your Gallery album. jigl2slideshow makes the input file from your jigl album. The output is fed through dvdauthor to create DVDs.
Enhancements:
- This release fixes a few major bugs with newer versions of ImageMagick (6.2.2 and higher) that showed up primarily when using the KenBurns effect.
- There are other bugfixes and improvements that should make this more compatible with the wide variety of Linux systems out there.
- Note that the title keyword has changed, so if you re-run your old slideshows, "title" will have to be changed to "titlebar" for the same behavior.
- The title keyword just displays the text in the middle of the screen.

Make audio is a graphical tool to create audio CDs from MP3 or wav files. You can simply arrange a playlist of all songs that you want. The application converts MP3 files to WAV and then burns them on the CD.

Slideshow Creator is a GUI for creating, modifying, and previewing JPEG image slideshows.

With Slideshow Creator you can edit jpeg slideshows in a visual and fast way so you can reach a much higher productivity with dvd-slideshow.

The final result is a high quality dvd slideshow out of your jpegs!

This software is based on gambas so it shoud work on every Linux or U*ix like system where gambas is available.

You need to install gambas runtime or gambas gambas development ide.
I think it shoould work on higher gambas versions.

I was tired to make poor quality slideshows in VCD/SVCD format and finally met dvd-slideshow: it is a very nice program that produces high quality DVD slideshows from jpeg images. It has crop, kenburn andpan effects.

I made some slideshows but reliazed that I wasted too much time to prepare the slideshow "source": I needed a visual program to speed up the process of kenburns, crop and pan effects creation.

I googled the net but didnt find any souch program so I decided to create one myself: slcreator was born!

How I did it? I built it using gambas: a visual ide with a object oriented basic interpreter which permits to create great programs in a "fast" way. I tried some other languages but I was not skilled enough to use them for this kind of project! gambas permitted me to realize the job in a very nice way!

POE::Component::Player::Slideshow is a wrapper for the qiv application.

This component is used to manipulate a slideshow viewer from within a POE application. At present it works with the qiv, the QuickView viewer.

Howto:
Press Simple Slide, Effect Slide and Collage Slide on top menubar to generate your own thumbnail photo album and music photo presentation (NO demo versions restriction or other functional limitations). Its a self-aid free service (based on Java applet, 1.4.2 or higher is required).
Nowadays a lot of free web hosting services provide free subdomain web space (100-500M space, 5G-20G bandwidth/Month, 500K filesize limit, PHP support, Zero cost for 1 year). You can upload the generated thumbnail gallery and the slide page to any web spaces. If the photos are too large, you can press the Image Processing on top menubar to reduce the filesize of a group of jpeg files. Its much easier than using photoshop to save them one by one.
Problems:
The most common error is caused by applets cache. For efficiency, applet and application data are cached and sticky in a directory other than browsers cache. If the applet could not work correctly, you should open the java plugin control panel and empty the cache first.
Error could also be caused by proxy. As this site is powered by services from Blogger, Googlepages and Myjavaserver, users should make sure that the browser could visit the 3 sites. Since applet may use a network connection different from browsers, users should make sure that the applet could visit all the three sites too. Applets network connection could be set from java plugin control panel.
If it still could not work, email the java consoles output to me.
Enhancements:
- Background music playing is improved in Firefox and Safari.
- This release works with Safari correctly.
