Maintenance for Plone provides a set of scheduled scripts for routine work in a Plone site.
PloneMaintenance consists of a portal_maintenance tool that allows you to define maintenance tasks and scripts to run according to a schedule assigned to the tasks.
No task is going to be run unless it is scheduled to. The schedule information is stored in the task, and even if PloneMaintenance is called many times in a row, it will always look up the schedule information, check when was the last time the task was run, calculate the next time the task is scheduled to run, and depending on this, PloneMaintenance will decide whether it runs the script associated to the task or not.
PloneMaintenance depends on an external tool to wake it up and make it execute the scheduled tasks. Without an external tool, PloneMaintenance will just sit and wait, doing nothing. You can go to the portal_maintenance tool and manually run the maintenance tasks, but most of the time, you want an external tool doing the job automatically.
You can choose one of the Schedulers which are available for Zope, or call PloneMaintenance from a cron job.
Enhancements:

AutoGen is a tool designed to simplify the creation and maintenance of programs that contain large amounts of repetitious text. AutoGen project is especially valuable in programs that have several blocks of text that must be kept synchronized.

AutoGen can now accept XML files as definition input, in addition to CGI data (for producing dynamic HTML) and traditional AutoGen definitions.

A common example where this would be useful is in creating and maintaining the code required for processing program options. Processing options requires multiple constructs to be maintained in parallel in different places in your program.

Enhancements:

Apophenia is an open statistical library. Apophenia project provides functions on the same level as those of the typical stats package (such as OLS, probit, or singular value decomposition) but doesnt tie the user to an ad hoc language or environment.
The core functions are written in C, but are designed to be easy to bind to functions in Perl/Phython/&c. You can even do statistics from the command line if you prefer.
It is written to scale well.

Net::YahooMessenger is a client class for connecting with the Yahoo!Messenger server, and transmitting and receiving a message.

Since implement of a protocol is the result of analyzing and investigating a packet, it has an inadequate place. However, it is working as expected usually.
