Lingua::Phonology::Features is a module to handle a set of hierarchical features.

Lingua::Phonology::Features allows you to create a hierarchy of features of various types, and includes methods for adding and deleting features and changing the relationships between them.

By "heirarchical features" we mean that some features dominate some other features, as in a tree. By having heirarchical features, it becomes possible to set multiple features at once by assigning to a node, and to indicate conceptually related features that are combined under the same node. This module, however, does not instantiate values of features, but only establishes the relationships between features.

Lingua::Phonology::Features recognizes multiple types of features. Features may be privative (which means that their legal values are either true or undef), binary (which means they may be true, false, or undef), or scalar (which means that their legal value may be anything). You can freely mix different kinds of features into the same set of features.

Finally, while this module provides a full set of methods to add and delete features programmatically, it also provides the option of reading feature definitions from a file. This is usually faster and more convenient. The method to do this is "loadfile". Lingua::Phonology::Features also comes with an extensive default feature set.

MyChineseFlashCardss goal is to ease the visual and auditory memorization of the 1000 most used Chinese characters.
To reach that goal, MyChineseFlashcards allows the user to learn characters with flash cards method; to access the characters of the dictionary in random, ascending, or descending order; to filter the characters, using one of 31 available filters; and to consult statistics on characters

John the Ripper is a fast password cracker, currently available for many flavors of Unix (11 are officially supported, not counting different architectures), DOS, Win32, BeOS, and OpenVMS.
It supports several crypt(3) password hash types which are most commonly found on various Unix flavors, as well as Kerberos AFS and Windows NT/2000/XP LM hashes.
Several other hash types are added with contributed patches.
Enhancements:
- Bitslice DES code for x86-64 that makes use of the 64-bit mode extended SSE2 with 16 XMM registers has been added for better performance at DES-based crypt(3) hashes with x86-64 builds on AMD processors.
- A new make target for FreeBSD/x86-64 has been added.

Streamsniff is a command line tool that sniffs network traffic for stream urls. I built it because I got tired chasing stream urls hidden behind loads of html and javascript.

Run it as root, fire up your browser and start the stream you want to "expose". Streamsniff detects the initiation of rtsp, mms, icy and http streams, and performs a backtrace on http traffic to detect "playlist"-urls (stream metafiles).

Streamsniff is experimental. It runs on little-endian (Intel/AMD), Linux and Windows XP SP2. I want to be less specific about the platform. Help with ports (big-endian, FreeBSD) is appreciated.
