VFU is console (text mode) file manager for UNIX/Linux.

During the years I tried to make short attractive list of features which VFU has. Attractive as Advertising above :) and it does not seem to work... at least it didnt for me and I never liked it.

I made all possible to make VFU cover all file managing needs and offer large set of behaviour options. If I succeeded or not, you can decide for yourself but without trying I believe noone can say for sure.

Installation:

1. how to compile vfu

run `make from vfu base directory

this should compile everything

to compile each part of vfu manually do this:

-- go to `vslib directory
-- run `make
-- go to `vfu directory
-- run `make

if something goes wrong, check these:

-- if your `curses.h file locations is not `/usr/include/ncurses
you have to change this in the Makefile.

-- if vslib library is not in the `../vslib directory you also
have to change this in the Makefile.

2. how to install vfu

run `install script from vfu base directory

install script checks if all required files are available/built and then does this:

cp vfu/vfu rx/rx_* /usr/local/bin
cp vfu.1 /usr/local/man/man1
cp vfu.conf /usr/local/etc

3. how to install vfu manually

-- you have to copy `vfu in the `/usr/local/bin or
`/usr/bin directory and set mode to 755 `rwxr-xr-x
the owner is not significant ( root is also possible ).

-- there is preliminary man page ( vfu.1 ) which could be
copied to /usr/man/man1.

-- copy all `rx/rx_* tools to /usr/local/bin
-- install Net::FTP perl module if needed.
(this is used for FTP support)

WARNING: make sure to remove all old personal cache files!

TiVonage allows Vonage customers to manage their voice mail.
Main features:
- Check for new messages
- Listen to messages
- View caller ID and address info
- Return calls via Click2Call
Enhancements:
- HTML tags were removed from the caller ID data returned by Google.
- This was only observed in messages from businesses.
- The MP3 encoding timeout was increased from 10s to 60s for slower machines.
- A bug that prevented config.sh/config.bat from exiting was fixed.
- sox and associated encode.sh/encode.bat scripts were added to fix problems caused by new .wav encoding from Vonage.
- A country question was added to the setup.
- The ability to check for new versions and notify the user accordingly was added.
- Graceful handling of messages from unknown callers was added.
- Minor cosmetic changes were made.

eXtended Account Management System is a PHP-based application suite made for managing electronic mail accounts on multiple domains in a virtual hosting environment.
The XAMS eMail management system primarily consists of a powerful administration panel for managing users, aliases, mailbox quotas, and other mail-related functions.
Main features:
- Manage any number of domains, mailboxes and aliases
- Multiple domains can be grouped as a "site".
- If you have, for example, two domains domain1.tld and domain2.tld within site site1
- then mails to either of the two email addresses for user user (user@domain1.tld
- or user@domain2.tld) will be delivered to one mailbox.

XAMS manages these domains and user accounts in a database, entirely separate from your Unix system environment.
XAMS ties together and integrates with these packages to provide a coherent virtual hosting solution for e-mail:
- Exim, a flexible mail transfer agent (MTA) with an intuitive and flexible configuration system
- The Courier IMAP/POP server for mailbox access
- MySQL, a powerful, free database server, used for storing domain and account information.
XAMS does not currently manage FTP or HTTP servers. The XAMS graphical user interface is written in PHP, runs on top of Apache, and produces XHTML 1.1 compliant pages.

Kudev is a system tool, written in python, which helps you create and (will help you) manage your udev rules.

To launch it unpack the archive and launch sudo python ./launch.py in your favorite console.
