Blinkensisters - Hunt for the Lost Pixels is a Parallax-style 2D scrolling game.

Blinkensisters is a new 2D scrolling gaming system for Linux, MacOSX, Windows and POSIX-compatible Unix-Systems (every platform that can run SDL).

You can even make your own levels with a simple text-editor.

CREATION OF LEVELS

You can create your own levels with a text editor. A level consist of a

Every character is a tile of 32x32 pixels in size. The characters have the following meanings:

+ ... Start point. Here starts the player (Blue)
- ... End point. After collecting the pixels, the player must arrive here.
(Red = not all pixels collected / Green = Player can exit)

# ... A pixel. You have to collect all pixels to solve the level.
P ... A power pixel. Must be collected; scares blue datenkraken away
* ... A bonus live.

Enhancements:
- A --port option was added to specify a non-standard FTP port.
- The handling of file names containing special characters was fixed.

LibOFX project is a generic library to allow financial software to easily support the Open Financial eXchange specification.
Two utilities are currently included with LibOFX: ofxdump and ofxtoqif. ofxdump writes to stdout, in human readable form, everything the library understands about a particular OFX response file. ofxtoqif is an OFX response to the QIF (Quicken Interchange Format) file converter.
Much OFX information is lost since the QIF file format is very primitive, but ofx2qif should allow importation of bank statements in any software that support QIF until said software supports the library directly.
LibOFX was implemented from the full OFX 1.6 spec and comes with a developers manual.

Chess::Elo is a Perl module to calculate Chess "Elo" ratings.

This module provides a single function, elo which allows one to calculate individual ratings based on performance. Typically, a player is given an initial provisional rating of 1600 points. In all cases, one gains and loses points as a function of the playing strength of both parties and the result of their encounter.

A1 is Alice rating before the game against Bob

METHODS

($new_a, $new_b) = elo($elo_a, $result, $elo_b)

This function takes 3 arguments describing the result of a person with rating $elo_a competing with the person with rating $elo_b. The result argument is from the perspective of person A. Thus if A won $result is 1. If A lost, $result is 0. If A drew, $result is 0.5.
