Arguvision project is an enterprise class video surveillance system.
Arguvision is based on a distributed Linux or Unix cluster architecture, with up to 1000 cameras per single cluster with aggregation capability and instant access to recorded or live video.

Linux VacationLinux vacation is a automatic mail-answering program. This is my vacation port to Linux. It is derived from the vacation program found on agate.berkeley.edu in the 386bsd directory on Nov 16, 1993. The original program was written by Eric Allman in 1983 and is copyrighted by the Regents of the UCB. The copyright disclaimer is valid for this distribution as well, i.e. this version is provided `as is, and I shall not be liable for any damage, data loss or earthquakes in the bay area.

Version 1.1 was a security-patched version. The former version 1.0 had a bad security bug which Olaf Kirch reported to the CERT mailing list (after giving me a hint :-). Please DO NOT LONGER USE vacation-1.0!

As far as Copyrights are concerned, the original parts of vacation are under the BSD copyright whereas I place my changed under the GPL (see file COPYING in the directory).

I tried to make this port look just like the version found with SunOS 4.1.x. There are minor differences, it resembles more the Sun version than the original 386bsd source.

Unpack the package as follows

mkdir -p /usr/src # if not already present :-)
chdir /usr/src
gzip -dc /vacation-1.1.tgz | tar xpvf -

A simple `make install (install-aout is no longer supported as of version 1.2) should install binary in /usr/bin and the manpages in /usr/man/man*, respectively. If you choose different directories, edit the Makefile.

Xrdesktop is a GTK-Perl frontend for rdesktop that allows saving and editing of session configurations.

Xrdesktop aim is to support all the command-line options of rdesktop in an easy-to-use GUI.

At the moment it supports a Name field for keeping track of entries, the IP/Hostname, username, window geometry, keyboard mapping, fullscreen, forced bitmap updating, a variable passthrough for adding your own rdesktop variables, and the prevention of license requests.

The eventual goal is to support all of rdesktops command-line features in
the gui.

Workrave project can assists you in the recovery and prevention of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).
The program frequently alerts you to take micro-pauses, rest breaks and restricts you to your daily limit.

Main features:
- Distributed: The program runs distributed on one or more PCs. All connected PCs share the same timing information. When the user switches computers, he still will be asked to pause on time.
- Server data collect: All programs in a network report user data detailing break information, mouse and keyboard usage to a central server. The data stored on this server may be analysed to detect user behaviour and, for example, take proactive measures.
- Applet: The program is able to show status information in an applet that is embeddable in the desktop panel or taskbar.

Bauk HTTP server project is a high-performance Web server. Bauks advanced architecture and unique design provide high performance and many original features, ie. ability to serve unlimited number of Virtual Hosts/simultaneous HTTP connections per single server process without performance loss.

This application is particularly useful for owners of digital DV video cameras and other people who use the Sony DV video format for high quality video production.

DV Assembler allows you to append multiple Sony DV files with nice looking transition effects for both audio and video. Multiple transition effects are supported, like cross-fade, zoom, blur and a flash effect.

I created DV Assembler because there are no user friendly video editing applications for Linux. Yes, Kino is promising, but its user interface is still a mess and development is slow.

DV Assembler only touches the head and tail parts of the original video files that are needed to create the transition effects. The rest of the video is left untouched, which means zero quality loss.

DV Assembler can also be used to generate video editing scripts that can be run without KDE and Kommander.

Sendmailizer provides a Sendmail and qmail log file analizer.
Sendmailizer performs MTA log file analysis and generates email usage reports, with general stats and statistics per user.
Installing
1. move where sendmailizer.pl lives
2. Modify sendmailizer.conf (parameters are self-explanatory)
(logfile should be: /var/log/maillog)
(please especify local domains: mydomain.com,mydomain.net...)
3. Try with ./sendmailizer.pl sendmailizer.conf
