Liquid Sunrise is a SuperKaramba theme for people who want to monitor sunrise and sundown without having to (wake up and) look out of the window. Ideal for photographers for planning phototours.

If you want to use a background picture (e.g. included bg.png or bg2.png) just edit line 2 in the theme file: bg.png is activated by default in the German version, bg2.png in the English version as example.

Image of morning and evening sun is taken from liquid weather theme Kapsules, meridian sun is from default liquid theme.

Based on the Crystal Sunrise Theme by Daniel Pathmaperuma (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/crystal_sunrise?content=54805) which is based on sunrise-theme by Flavio Cardone (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/sunrise?content=25030) - an even more shameless port ;).

thin liquid film project is an application which allows linux users to quickly and easily convert video files into a format suitable for playing on the video capable ipods. I wrote this application, after purchasing a video ipod, and being frustrated that the only real option for converting video was either via command-line, or via a servicemenu with no ability to configure the resulting video file.
TLF uses the ffmpeg engine to do the encoding. It is written in pyqt, so it should work with a default kde installation, and is very easy to install.

LCDML project (or Liquid Crystal Display Markup Language) is a description language based on XML and used to describe the text that should be displayed on a LCD. It supports both static and dynamic text messages and bar charts and allows to implement all kinds of (complex) status output on a display.

A LCDML player (e.g. iowlcdml in the iowlcd package) uses a LCDML input file and then displays the pages defined there. Each page will be displayed for a specified duration, then the next page is displayed. This allows to use LCDML to describe lots of status messages on different pages and its output will be displayed with time multi-plexing.

Each page defined in LCDML contains regions. The regions are rectangular boxes defined on the text screen on the LCD where text output can be placed. A region is by default static, i. e. the contents displayed is generated if the page is constructed and keeps its contents until the page is no longer displayed. Other regions can be defined to be updated more often during the display of the page. These dynamic regions allow to update its contents more often during the lifetime of a page.

In a region text and bar charts can be defined. A text can be either defined directly, read from a file, or be the output of a shell command. The last method is very useful for creating status outputs defined in LCDML. The shell command is executed each time the region is updated. Similar to text output, the bar charts can be defined in regions, too. Both vertical and horizontal bars arranged in groups are supported. The values displayed in a bar can also be generated from a command output. LCDML allows to filter command output with regular expressions to extract the values from verbose output.

As a convenience and performance feature, the command output can be also stored as strings. The strings can then be used and filtered for different values and applied in different texts and bars in a regions without re-evaluating the command.

LCD4Linux is a small program that grabs information from the kernel and some subsystems and displays it on an external liquid crystal display.

The Bubbling Load Monitor (or "Bubblemon" for short) is a system CPU and memory load monitor.
It displays something that looks like a vial containing water. The water level indicates how much memory is in use. The color of the liquid indicates how much swap space is used (watery blue means none and angry red means all).
The system CPU load is indicated by bubbles floating up through the liquid; lots of bubbles means high CPU load. If you have unread mail, a message in a bottle falls into the water.
Enhancements:

Edmon is a system monitor SuperKaramba theme.

I just made this system monitor for myself, because didnt find any suitable for my needs.

It looks like Liquid Weather Plus, and has all the important info about the system. For the temperatures lm_sensors have to be installed. The theme needs to be hand adjusted to fit Your system.

PPTools contains several tools designed to ease the life of people working in the Pulsed Power field. It can also be useful for people working in electronics.
PPTools contains an RLC circuit solver, a resistor color coding solver, a liquid resistor solver, an inductance calculator, and a skin depth effect calculator. It should greatly help when doing quick calculations for the design of experiments, or when analyzing experimental results.
Main features:
- Solving of RLC circuit: give all parameters but two, solve the two unknowns!
- Resistors color coding: enter the color code, read the resistance value! Or enter the resistance you need, then read the closest color code!
- Liquid resistors solver: give all parameters but one, solve the unknown!
- Inductances calculator: select the geometry, enter the parameters, then read the associated inductance and capacitance! (flux leakage coefficients included, according to Knoepfel calculations)
- Skin depth calculator: select the applied signal shape, select the electrodes materials, give all parameters but one, solve the unknown!
- Help window describing all the features and giving details about the calculations (in About tab).
Enhancements:
- The liquid resistors calculator now gives correct answers and more solutions are available.
