Cool Linux CD is a bootable CD with Linux operating system that contains a 2.4 kernel and many free software packages.
Enhancements:
- Kernel 2.4.20-wolk and 2.4.22 with supermount, squashfs, shfs patches and ALSA 0.9.6 drivers;
- Ability to choose a version of linux kernel and parameters for FrameBuffer and XFree86 (resolution);
- Save and restore your system configuration on floppy;
- Restore configuration from another session on CoolLinuxCD (in multissesion mode);
- Writing the CD-RW disks with CDRW device (if not a boot drive);
- Ability to choose the interface language during the bootup process (currently only English and Russian languages are supported);

The DemoLinux CD allow to use Linux without installation, disk partitioning or any other complex manipulation that still prevent many people from giving Linux a try. This CD does not install Linux on your hard disk, but it allows you to play with it at lenght before you eventually decide to proceed with a full fledged installation.

This is made possible by a set of technical features in the Linux kernel and by some other free software (notably from S.u.S.E. and RedHat) that we use here.

Our goal is to allow everybody to make by himself an idea of what Linux can offer, and also to provide software publishers with a means to give out easy to use, no-hassle demos of their Linux products.

This CD is also a wonderful means of using Linux everywhere: you can take your favorite configuration with you in a CD that fits in your pocket, sit down in front of most PCs running another OS, boot from the CD and find yourself in front of your preferred environment in minutes.

Linux DC++ is a project to port the DC++ direct connect client to Linux or any POSIX-compliant Unix.

Berry Linux is a bootable CD Linux with automatic hardware detection and support for many graphics cards, sound cards, SCSI and USB devices and other peripherals.

Zenwalk Linux (formerly Minislack) is a Slackware-based Linux distribution with focus on Internet applications, multimedia and programming tools.
ZenLive Linux LiveCD is a complete system with software for Internet browsing, mail, chat, multimedia and office, as well as for programming in C, Perl, Python and Ruby.
The main objectives of Zenwalk Linux are to be simple and fast, provide one application per task, be a complete development and desktop environment and to be small enough to fit on a 400MB ISO image.
Enhancements:
- ZenLive 4.2 is based on Zenwalk Linux version 4.2 and compliments the speed and stability youve come to expect from Zenwalk. Some of the new features include Zenpanel which is Zenwalks new system configuration panel that makes customizing your Linux system easy. Desktop enhancements include a new panel layout and RSS feed reader that were added to Xfce among other nice enhancements, such as the original Tango-derived icon theme. Howl has been replaced with the more modern and supported Avahi Zeroconf subsystem. Fam has been replaced with Gamin resulting in noticeable speed increases to file and directory monitoring.

Linux on a Stick is an attempt to make a Live-CD/USB-Flash server Linux distro. At its heart is a very small and simple Linux distro that boots off CD/Flash and runs from RAM (Ie no spinning hard drives of death).
This approach allows us to strip the OS to its very basic components, which minimizes the amount of resources required. This distro is targeted towards Server administrator who are familiar with Linux, its only configuration method is the command line.
Enhancements:
- Linux kernel 2.4.33 was replaced with 2.6.18.8.
- A USB booting problem that would prevent it from booting on some BIOSs (Namely AMI) was resolved.
- The ARDIS iSCSI target was replaced with the Enterprise iSCSI target (v0.4.14).
- The Open iSCSI initiator (v2.0.754) package with kernel modules is included.
- The distribution now boots on more than just Intel CPUs.
- Userland tools (v3.6.19) and kernel FS support were included for ReiserFS and XFS.
- The PHP CLI is included in php-5.2.0 in root.gz initrd.

This Live CD is based on Ubuntu 5.10 (Breezy Badger) Live CD and, in addition to the regular Breezy, features pre-installed GRAMPS, GeneWeb, and LifeLines applications, as well as GraphViz program to draw pretty graphs in GRAMPS. The CD is available only for the x86 architecture.
