image-viewer is a very simple Kommander script. But written following one of the 2-3 tutorials you can find on the net. Included in tarball you can find this guide to introduce in Kommander GUI. I know people want to use this great program..but documentations are very poor...this example helps people who wants to learn something about simple array, combobox, label and connections between signals and slots..very very important.

So, i hope the guide and the example will be usefull.

X Window Properties Viewer project allows you to select a X window and view/edit its properties.

A tree viewer lets to see part or all of the windows tree on your X server.

After selecting a window you can view all of the resources at once or select individual ones for viewing/editing.

Only editing strings is currently supported.

While Digikam is a great app for managing your images, it lacks a good and fast image viewer in my opinion. Unfortunately, the fastest image viewer for KDE, Kuickshow, is not available as KIPI plugin. Therefore I wrote this plugin to fill that gap

Linux Bandwidth Monitor (bwmon) is yet another utility that measures bandwidth utiliazation per interface basis. It is coded in C and takes advantage of POSIX thread and curses library. It runs only on Linux systems since the utility reads /proc/net/dev and /proc/uptime.

The utility reads /proc/net/dev and /proc/uptime files in order to print out bandwidth usage at user selected intervals, maximum bandwidth usage since initialization of the utility and average bandwidth usage since the last reboot. This is done based on network interface.

Tested on Linux 2.2.x, 2.4.x and 2.5.x, SuSE and RedHat distributions.
To compile, simply say
$ make
To install, say (optional)
# make install
Or copy bwmon binary where ever you want.

Quick Image Viewer (qiv) is a very small and fast GDK/Imlib image viewer designed to replace the classic image viewers like xv or xloadimage. Quick Image Viewer program runs on FreeBSD, Linux (libc5/glibc), Solaris (SunOS) and HP-UX.

GeoTIFF Viewer is a simple viewer for GeoTIFF files, which are georeferenced raster images, typically used for maps.
Ive noticed that there really arent any programs for Linux that just view maps. There are several GIS packages, but if all you want to do is look, theyre overkill. I wrote GeoTIFF Viewer to be a simple viewer of digital raster graphics.
It uses libtiff and libgeotiff for the heavy lifting of reading the TIFF and associated GeoTIFF tags, and GTK+, GDK, and GLib for the widgets and graphical utilities. As such, it should run on any platform that these do, which is to say, most modern operating systems.
Digital raster graphics for California can be freely obtained at The California Spatial Information Library. The USGS and the Tennessee Valley Authority have data for the rest of the country.
Installation:
The simplest way to compile this package is:
1. `cd to the directory containing the packages source code and type `./configure to configure the package for your system. If youre using `csh on an old version of System V, you might need to type `sh ./configure instead to prevent `csh from trying to execute `configure itself.
Running `configure takes awhile. While running, it prints some messages telling which features it is checking for.
2. Type `make to compile the package.
3. Optionally, type `make check to run any self-tests that come with the package.
4. Type `make install to install the programs and any data files and documentation.
5. You can remove the program binaries and object files from the source code directory by typing `make clean. To also remove the files that `configure created (so you can compile the package for a different kind of computer), type `make distclean. There is also a `make maintainer-clean target, but that is intended mainly for the packages developers. If you use it, you may have to get all sorts of other programs in order to regenerate files that came with the distribution.
Enhancements:
- This release fixes calculation of seconds when lat/long is being displayed.
