Sample Inventory Program provides a laboratory inventory management system (LIMS) for Zope.
Many integration tests exist for various aspects of the SIP application, ranging from command line importing of samples and project configuration to CSV Web-based importing of sample modifications.
Main features:
- Cross platform using the Zope 3 appliation server and Python language. Contains over 200 unit and integrations tests.
- Command line import functionality (import application configuration, projects, samples, aliquots and container heirarchies)

- Batch editing available using CSV files. All changes are transactional. You can easily import hundreds of samples into multiple projects by using CSV files and importing them through the web interface. You can change locations of aliquots by using the CSV import functionality. Any functionality that can be done in the web interface is complimented by CSV functionality.

- Advance Attribute Capture forms enable Project Administrators to specify what attributes for their Sample Types need to be captured for their project. Now non-technical users can ensure that Lab Technicans capture any attribute for any Sample Type. Attributes are limited to: DateTime, Boolean, Float, Integer, String and Text fields. Default Values can be assigned.

- Finally Sample Type Attributes can have validation scripted on a field by field basis. By using the TALES Validation functionality for Sample Type Attribute Fields. Examples of TALES validation:

- Edit Comments will require a comment to be added to any field that is edited. These are used in conjunction with RDBMS triggers to keep a audit log to ensure that all changes to all inventory can be tracked.

Command Line WRAPper is a tool that provides an easy way to build and run commands from input lines, avoiding the use of shell script. It is similar to xargs.

clwrap can make great things with the locate command, and is low resource intensive. It can also do some not-quite-fun works like multiple configure/make/make install after a fresh system installation. In practice, you have to generate a list of files/directories you want to manage, clwrap takes it in standard input and apply the command you want to apply for each files (lines) in input.

But you can do much more, in fact, its up to you to find how to use it ;).

clive is a command line program that extracts videos from YouTube and Google Video websites. The project supports embedded video extraction, and can be used with ffmpeg to re-encode the extracted videos to different video formats (avi, mpeg, flv).

The EnergyMech is an advanced IRC bot. EnergyMech project has many features including a DCC party line, powerful user list handling, bot linking, a telnet console and more.

Beyond the Red Line project is a stand-alone total conversion for the award-winning Freespace 2 released by Volition and Interplay for the PC. It is based on the popular new tv-show Battlestar Galactica. No, not the one from the 70s.
Will I need Freespace 2 to play it?
No, Beyond the Red Line is a stand-alone conversion and will not require Freespace 2. All you need for playing will be included in the download.
Is it free?
Absolutely. The game is made by fans for the fans, no profit is being made from any part of the project. Although we could use some pizzas and coke to keep our mortal bodies running.
That about covers it... a BSG total conversion of FS2 that has just released a demo version. it plays really well and looks amazing. a must for any BSG fan.
Enhancements:
- This demo contains spoilers for the second season of BSG, so if you havent seen that season yet you should pass on this game for now.

Algorithm::Line::Bresenham is a Perl module that contains a simple pixellated line-drawing algorithm.

SYNOPSIS

Bresenham is one of the canonical line drawing algorithms for pixellated grids. Given a start and an end-point, Bresenham calculates which points on the grid need to be filled to generate the line between them.

Googling for Bresenham, and line drawing algorithms gives some good overview. The code here takes its starting point from Mark Feldmans Pascal code in his article Bresenhams Line and Circle Algorithms at http://www.gamedev.net/reference/articles/article767.asp.

FUNCTIONS

line

line ($from_y, $from_x => $to_y, $to_x);

Generates a list of all the intermediate points. This is returned as a list of array references.

line ($from_y, $from_x => $to_y, $to_x, &callback);

Calls the referenced function on each point in turn. The callback could be used to actually draw the point. Returns the collated return values from the callback.

Console Lines is a "Lines" game for the Unix terminal. There is no in-game help available right now, so check the README file. To move the cursor, use arrows (or jkhl), to select or to move a chip, use space. To instantly quit, use q. Console Lines requires a certain terminal size, supports a mouse (curses or GPM), and works with various ncurses libraries.
You will need an ANSI standart C compiler, GNU make, and a decent curses library that supports colors.
