LBC Libraries is a set of easy C libraries that provide classical data types and structures (string, hash, queue, stack, tree).
LBC Libraries package is focused on simplicity and portability. It uses ANSI C (C98 standard not required), and provides the most generic approach possible so that queues can have items of different types, hashes can have keys of different data types, trees can be binary trees or have arbitrary numbers of branches, etc.
Enhancements:
- This release adds minor API changes, enhances the documentation, and fixes major bugs in LBCstring.

DAEMon Raco Libraries (DRLibs) is a collection of useful functions, objects, and routines for C++.
Enhancements:
- This release adds new libraries to manage object lists: doublelist.dr.h, simplelist.dr.h, and sortedlist.dr.h.

The Adobe Source Libraries (ASL) are a collection of C++ libraries building foundation technology to allow the construction of commercial applications by assembling generic algorithms through declarative descriptions.
Enhancements:
- GIL version 2.1 (support for sub-byte aligned pixel values in images).
- An ASL version_0 namespace has been introduced to maintain binary compatibility going forward.
- There are poly< > library improvements. adobe/vector.hpp and adobe/closed_hash.hpp have been added as generic containers.
- There are many other improvements.

Gnome Devtool Libraries project contains components and libraries that are intended to be shared between GNOME development tools, including gnome-debug,
gnome-build, and anjuta2.

The current pieces of GDL include:

- A symbol browser bonobo component (symbol-browser-control).

- A docking widget (gdl).

- A utility library that also contains the stubs and skels for the symbol browser and text editor components (gdl, idl).

Installation:

The simplest way to compile this package is:

1. `cd to the directory containing the packages source code and type `./configure to configure the package for your system. If youre using `csh on an old version of System V, you might need to type `sh ./configure instead to prevent `csh from trying to execute `configure itself.

Running `configure takes awhile. While running, it prints some messages telling which features it is checking for.

2. Type `make to compile the package.

3. Optionally, type `make check to run any self-tests that come with the package.

4. Type `make install to install the programs and any data files and documentation.

5. You can remove the program binaries and object files from the source code directory by typing `make clean. To also remove the files that `configure created (so you can compile the package for a different kind of computer), type `make distclean. There is also a `make maintainer-clean target, but that is intended mainly for the packages developers. If you use it, you may have to get all sorts of other programs in order to regenerate files that came with the distribution.

FFI::Library is a module with Perl Access to Dynamically Loaded Libraries.

This module provides access from Perl to functions exported from dynamically linked libraries. Functions are described by signatures, for details of which see the FFI modules documentation.

LibCVS Perl simplifies the job of writing tools around CVS by providing Perl libraries that programmers can access directly in their code.
Its current focus is libraries that use the cvsclient protocol to talk to a CVS server and are targetted at the development of client applications.
Libraries that understand the RCS file format and provide fast server-side access are a future possibility.
Enhancements:
- The ability to apply tags is now included.
- A new script, lcvs-tagbase, is included to apply a base tag to existing branches.

Oracle Aggregate C++ Library allows C++ programmers to easily create new aggregate functions for Oracle.

Oracle Aggregate C++ Library can be used as a glue library to existing C++ and C libraries. Detailed knowledge of the OCI aggregate interface is not required to use the library.

With automatic conversion of Oracle built-in types to C++ types it is possible to use the library without using any OCI functions directly.

The Oracle OCI interface for aggregate functions provides a straightforward way to implement aggregate functions in C or C++. There is, however, a certain amount of bookkeeping that needs to be performed in order to use the interface. The goal of this library is to take care of all the bookkeeping details for your, all you need to provide is the aggregate function itself. This makes it particularly easy to use existing C++ code and libraries in Oracle aggregate functions.

Design

The way the library works is that it defines the shared library entry point functions required by Oracle. The entry point functions simply forward all arguments to the static functions of the Aggregate class.

The Aggregate class along with a number of helper classes and functions takes care of converting arguments, configuring the environment, creating implementation instances and such. When everything is ready the arguments originally sent by Oracle are passed to your aggregate implementation.

The CImg Library is a C++ Template Image Processing Library.
It is portable (Unix/X11, Windows, MacOS X), efficient, and simple to use.
Main features:
- The CImg Library is an open source C++ toolkit for image processing. It provides simple classes and functions to load, save, process and display images in your own C++ code.
- It is highly portable and fully works on Unix/X11, Windows, MacOS X and FreeBSD operating systems. It should compile on other systems as well (eventually without display capabilities).
- It consists only of a single header file CImg.h that must be included in your C++ program source.
- It contains useful image processing algorithms for image loading/saving, displaying, resizing/rotating, filtering, object drawing (text, lines, faces, curves, ellipses,..), etc...
- Images are instancied by a class able to represent images up to 4-dimension wide (x,y,z,v) (from 1-D scalar signals to 3-D volumes of vector-valued pixels), with template pixel types.
- It depends on a minimal number of libraries : you can compile it only with standard C libraries. No need for exotic libraries and complex dependencies.
- Additional features appear with the use of ImageMagick, libpng or libjpeg: install the ImageMagick package or link your code with libpng and libjpeg to be able to load and save compressed image formats (GIF,BMP,TIF,JPG,PNG,...). Available for any platforms.
