PloneFormGen 1.0.3

PloneFormGen provides a generic Plone form generator using fields, widgets and validators from Archetypes.

Actions like mailing or saving form input are incorporated by included plug-in adapters.

This product provides a generic Plone form generator using fields, widgets and validators from Archetypes. It makes it possible to build simple contact, information-gathering or data-entry forms through Plones interface.

To use it, create a form folder, then add form fields as contents. Individual fields can display and validate themselves for testing purposes. The form folder creates a form from all the contained field content objects.

Final disposition of form input is handled via plug in action products. Action adapters included with this release include a mailer and a save-data adapter that saves input in tab-separated format for later download. When you first add a form folder, its configured as simple response form with input mailed to the owner.

Since PloneFormGenerator uses Archetypes fields, widgets and validators, its also a good tool for rapidly prototyping forms intended for use with Archetypes-derived content types.

Rose::HTML::Form is more than just an object representation of the HTML tag. It is meant to be a base class for custom form classes that can be initialized with and return "rich" values such as objects, or collections of objects.

Building up a reusable library of form classes is extremely helpful when building large web applications with forms that may appear in many different places. Similar forms can inherit from a common subclass, and forms may be nested.

This class inherits from, and follows the conventions of, Rose::HTML::Object. Inherited methods that are not overridden will not be documented a second time here. See the Rose::HTML::Object documentation for more information.

Web Form Factory 0.1.3

Web Form Factory 0.1.3

Web Form Factory is a simple application that binds HTML forms to a database. more>>
Web Form Factory is a simple application that binds HTML forms to a database. It analyzes the HTML file you supply and identifies all the common input types it contains, including text fields, drop down lists, checkboxes, radio buttons, and text areas.
Once all the input types have been detected, it then performs some validation tests that ensures that enough information is contained within the HTML form to allow the program to bind the inputs properly. It then generates the required backend PHP code and returns the form back to the you in a zip file.
Enhancements:
- Form Validation Capabilities were added.
- The user can easily specify which fields are mandatory, and the location and appearance of error messages can be configured.
- A new Tag engine was added.
- Tags can be used to make form generation even simpler and faster by eliminating repetitive form coding tasks.

Free Digital Money 0.2

Free Digital Money 0.2

Free Digital Money is a free open source project aimed at promoting ideas and stimulating further innovation. more>>
Free Digital Money projetc is aimed at promoting ideas and stimulating further innovation in the field of digital bearer money.
Digital bearer money is like cash and can be transferred person-to-person without going through a bank or PayPal account.
Scope
The scope of this project is necessarily limited; digital bearer money schemes are difficult to implement.
The project will develop and release a Digital Money system and applications, suitable for teaching and idea-testing.
The current release (V0.2) delivers a basic digital PGP-based coin system.
The next release will provide a transport mechanism to send the coins to an intended recipient; and a client application (a Wallet).
How You Can Help
We welcome technical help in a variety of forms:
- Application writers and visionaries: to use the FreeDMoney software to experiment with new ideas
- Coders: to extend the current software or to implement a completely new payment system
- Vendors of existing digital payment schemes: to implement a FDM interface to their code
Educational Usage
Students (and others) are welcome and encouraged to use FreeDMoney as a basis for discussing other considerations of building a secure payment systems.
Examples:
- What technical peer-review process would be required to be confident in the security of the system?
- What are the limitations in the model that would need to be overcome in order to make this into a technically sound basis for a real-world, real-value payment system?
- Assuming these limitations had been overcome, what operational considerations would need to be addressed to deliver a secure, reliable payment system?
- How do existing payment systems address these issues?
What legal and regulatory issues would need to be addressed in the target jurisdictions?
Enhancements:
- Initial Coin implementation and "test bank" Web application.

Quinti Secure Contact Form 1

Quinti Secure Contact Form 1

Quinti Secure Contact Form is a contact form for Web pages that is not vulnerable to robots. more>>
Quinti Secure Contact Form is a contact form for Web pages that is not vulnerable to robots who would abuse such forms for sending spam.
It uses both JavaScript field validators and CAPTCHA for verifying the validity of the sender. Quinti Secure Contact Form is easy to install and configure, and uses valid XHTML 1.1.
I have been attacked thousand times by spammers from my contact form, they use robots and take advantage of certain vulnerabilities of the mail forms to send their spam, and fill up my mailbox up to such an extent that they make your mail practically useless.
There are two ways of tackling this problem: Introducing a CAPTCHA validated through JavaScript, as i explain later.
And introducing certain functions in PHP that prevent these attacks, as you will see in the examples below
At the moment, go to the problem.
Main features:
- Invulnerable secure antispam contact form,
- JavaScript field validator in php (to insert multi-language variables and other variables, if you wish)
- Prevent spammers from using your form to send garbage, guaranteed.
- CAPTCHA to avoid Javascript validated Spam
- Easy to install and configure
- Valid XHTML 1.1

mod_form 1.0

mod_form 1.0

mod_form is a utility to decode data submitted from Web forms. more>>
mod_form is a utility to decode data submitted from Web forms. It deals with both GET and POST methods where the data are encoded using the default content type application/x-www-form-urlencoded.

mod_form does not decode multipart/form-data (file upload) forms: for those you should use mod_upload.

Usage:

When mod_form is active, form data will be decoded to an apr_table_t*. Modules can access the table using the optional function form_data, or individual form fields using form_value:

#include "mod_form.h"

some_func(request_rec* r) {
apr_table_t* (*form_vars)(request_rec*) ;
apr_table_t* (*form_lookup)(request_rec*, const char*) ;
apr_table_t* form_data ;
const char* val ;
const char* key = "some-form-field" ;

/* get the whole table */
form_vars = APR_RETRIEVE_OPTIONAL_FN(form_data) ;
if ( form_vars ) {
form_data = form_vars(r) ;
}

/* or get individual values */
form_lookup = APR_RETRIEVE_OPTIONAL_FN(form_value) ;
if ( form_lookup ) {
val = form_lookup(r, key) ;
}
}
