Klaid - K Learning Aid pops up kvtml file items on the desktop. Use KWordQuiz or FlashKard to produce kvtml files and load them into Klaid. It will grab all complete n x m related items (e.g. "Question" and "Answer", or "Word A" and "Word B") and displays them periodically as PopUps on the desktop. It is like someone is sitting behind you making sure you know all the terms for your next exam or test while surfing the web, coding, or whatever.
Intsllation:
Extract the archive, run "make -f Makefile.cvs && ./configure --prefix=PATH" first. Insert your KDE base installation dir for PATH. In Debian sid and Kubuntu that would be "/usr".
Then compile by typing "make". You may then install the program (as root) via checkinstall or "make install".

cdp-tools is a software that provides tools to work with the Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP).
They were written because of a particular hosting center that insisted on learning routes using CDP, and thusly required Cisco Switches for doing their dirty work.
cdp-listen/cdp-routemgr are proof-of-concepts that may be useful if you want to implement a similarly brain-damaged proposal.
cdp-send is a must-have tool if you are in that situation. It can pretend to be just about any kind of Cisco hardware you can imagine.
The source is a bit difficult to follow as a requirement was that it build under both the ancient libnet and the new libnet code. hence, much nasty macro-ing.

The Bodington project exists to provide an open source environment to support learning, teaching and research.

One of the many difficulties students of the japanese language have to cope with, is the huge number of unique characters (kanji) they have to memorize.
Everyone who has tried to learn japanese knows the problem: When reading a text you very often encounter a kanji you havent memorized yet and a lot of time has to be spend finding the character in a kanji dictionary.
After finding it you normally would like to memorize it, so that you dont have to look it up again and again.
KanjiNirvana combines a flexible kanji lookup method with a simple kanji quiz for memorizing to help with these two common tasks.
